Was really bored looked through my TiVo & decided to stick on Signs not seen it in years. Something I've not saw mentioned on here often. Crop Circles all fake & done by hand? Or some Real & done by a UFO or other worldly being?

Like most ufo sightings 99% fake 1% real.

So you really think something's came to this planet & made real ones Franky? The complex designs in some of them are amazing. Either way whether humans make them or aliens there bloody impressive lol. That film would be really good if The aliens weakness wasn't water they're whole invasion could have been foiled by a shower of rain. They'd never last a minute in Britain ha!

Two of the worst places I have ever been for rain is Dublin and Manchester.

The first reported crop circles I think are the real McCoy the rest are copy cats and disinformation hoaxes.

You've never been to Scotland then Kim?

{Ed007's Note - I'll second that, and I've spent some time in Dublin and Manchester. In Glasgow it's summer if it's not freezing cold and raining, winter is when it is freezing cold and raining.}

I have not been to Scotland however you are not selling it well.

Ha you should try a winter where 5 feet of snow is considered easy.

Trying to think of the rainiest places back home. Sverdlovsk could be bad.

Kim Philby
{Ed007's Note - Scotland gets it fair share of snow as well Kim but not 5 feet of it. It's actually a great place to visit if you are into hill-walking, or you can appreciate the beautiful countryside and can ignore the cold.}

The cold does not bother me, I've done survival courses in Siberia where its minus double figures and vodka is your friend. I love it when this country grinds to a halt. I imagine the highlands gets a fair bit. Think my hill walking days are over but I may suggest a weekend break.

Kim Philby
{Ed007's Note - You should definitely visit Scotland if you get the chance Kim but you won't need any vodka - we have Buckfast! A bottle of that in you and you would be running around Siberia with shorts and no top on swinging the empty bottle and trying to fight the entire Chinese army single-handedly.}

Sounds like escape and evasion exercises. Or certain May Day hangovers. Siberia is better in May.

What is Buckfast please?

Kim Philby
{Ed007's Note - It's a fortified wine made at Buckfast Abbey in Devon and is the tipple of choice of most of Scotland's young men. It gets the blame for a lot of the social unrest (and crime) in the West of Scotland.}

A bit like sherry then?

How interesting. I will speak to the other half, now the football is over and there is a gap to the world cup.

Kim Philby
{Ed007's Note - It's been compared to sherry but there is a lot of caffeine in it as well which gets the blame for all the younger ones going off their head on it, I'm sure I read it had a higher caffeine content than Red Bull.}

Sounds nasty Bond.

Can't imagine Siberian survival courses are much fun either, I know squaddies who have done Norway and that was bad.

Ed007 your not wrong those 2 weeks of Summer are magical and usually just a wee bit too hot for us all pink Ned's everywhere haha. You should try visit those 2 weeks of summer Kim no idea when they will be. If your not fit for the climbing like most of Scotland's young men me included, we will get you a minted tracky (fashionable track suit) a wee staffy (Staffordshire bull Terrior) a caerry oot bag full a Bucky (plastic bag containing vast quantities of buckfast tonic wine) go doon the watter fur a swally (go down by the tampon condom & shopping cart infested river for some alcoholic beverages) and generally cause havoc & act like @rseholes I'm sure you will find it rather hilarious. In all honesty though away from all that I am honored to live in one of the most beautiful country's in the world we have some amazing sights too see. I wish I lived out in the country side here away from all the hassle. I'd love too get over too the Hebrides beautiful.

PS Ed007 nice too speak to you when were not enemies on a football site.

PSS how did you manage to land the sweet 007 gig sure your the envy of all your Ed friends lol.
{Ed007's Note - I'll have you know I own a Staffy, he's only 18 months old and is called Yoda. Because of my dashing good looks, natural charisma and charm there was no other Ed's suitable for the 007 number, you should see the nick of the others!}

Hmmm Bond I get it. I think you should invest in in a Rossija shirt. I must remember the new lyrics to the anthem.

RM you make it all sound so scenic. Not sure I could keep up with young guys anymore. Those days are gone. But maybe a quiet city break with some culture?

Mort it was no picnic. Hard case or is that head case special forces types enjoying the opportunity to push around people theyd normally be scared of. And they loved having women there. And the cold, terrible.

Kim Philby
{Ed007's Note - I don't really bother much with international football, it's never been the same since Diana Ross missed the penalty at the opening ceremony of USA'94 but I always wanted Argentina to win when WCs came around. My hatred of Messi was swaying me towards Germany this year though so I'll play it by ear until/if they need to play each other.}

I'm not the sporty type although I do really enjoy cricket. And I enjoyed the olympics. I'm going to guess Celtic fan Mr editor?

Kim Philby
{Ed007's Note - Of course Kim, all the beautiful people support Celtic :) Cricket is seen more as an English sport, I think it's because Scotsmen can't be trusted with the bat.}

Cricket grounds were very good places to meet people for work purposes. And Mr Philby got me into cricket.

Have suggested trip to Scotland.

Not my type I am afraid to disappoint you. Maybe you should have a group drink stories website to swap war stories. You boys sound like you have a few.
