Would the 'Van Allen' belt of radiation around the earth prevent a real moon landing from taking place in an unshielded spacecraft?

Yes.

Since the alleged apollo landings no aircraft/spacecraft has ventured further than circa 400 miles above the earth. Including the Space Shuttle. Don't you think the Soviets would have made it to the moon at some point too? The Soviets were way ahead of the US in the space race. If you believe Neil Armstrong was the first man on the moon them you probably think LHO shot JFK too.

A few times this topic has cropped and considering I am a ufo/alien nut, I have never really studied this, have to make time in the future.

I believe that's why they didn't but the space program was under top security classification. Only the politburo and the chairman had access to a lot of the files. The scientists and cosmonauts obviously wouldn't speak on it.

Did you know the 12 Hasselblad cameras used on the moon were left there. Only the film magazines were brought back.

So how did they protect the film from the effects of radiation, and come back with photos a professional photographer would be proud of?
