Hi quick question for the edds. have you ever watched America unearthed and what do you think of Scott Wolter?
{Ed033's Note - i've listened to Scott Wolter before talking about The Kensington Rune Stone. He seems very credible. i haven't watched America Unearthed.
Chris Fogarty has clearly done his research, and I found his account of this disastrous period in Irish history as accurate as anything I've come across.
I would have to say that most Irish people do know the truth about the so called 'famine' Ed033, but there is a still a lot of guilt and shame attached to it. Tim Pat Coogan wrote a very good book on it for the 150th anniversary which is well worth a read.
It's only when you read about the so called famine that you begin to understand how Irish people were treated like sub-human slaves in their own country by the British govt. of the time.

Unfortunately ed33 some of those that fled starvation and violence went on to join in the vast extermination of native Americans, which in my opinion is unforgivable given they had suffered at the hands of the same common enemies.
