The world is crashing head first into something Orwell saw coming, how close are we to a 1984 like situation.
The man surely had some inside knowledge of where the world was heading and who was taking it there. Many of the things in this novel have come to be, thou be it 30 Years after the time it was set.
Dystopian society in all its forms, and the battle for totalitarianism of the political and religious super powers are with us. It is very real.
Its going to be dire for everyone but funny enough its going to be the people who are relatively well off that its going hit more, unless you have very high connections then you are going to be in the same boat as the guy who works in asda.
