They do there best to do it here. Every time someone is arrested in this country they do fingerprints and Dna swabs before your have been found guilty of anything. Not quite chipping but extremely wrong.

{Ed033's Note - yes, but they will sell the chip to us as something amazing that will enhance our lives. After that they will make it more beneficial in society to be chipped than not. Later on, they will make it extremely difficult to live in society without being chipped. Further on still, you will need special permission not be chipped at birth.
The end result (using the above 'totalitarian tiptoe' method) being that they can control you via the chip as the perfect slave unit.

Agree you could see them trying maybe a fitness type spin
Like test your blood suger levels for you and makes a noise or monitors heart rate and temp. Or mobile phone similar to total recall (Newer one).
Any thing seeming good is always worth avoiding in some cases.
