if you stop the video at 18.11 there is a box with its title iv tried to translate it. the big word boelle at the top means beautiful. think the rest is something along the lines of suit of books of red wood made papers de rouge means red the word des illiers i'm struggling with that sentence seen something it could mean of the village. getting differnt translations with a letter change. suit on its own in french means follows. anyone know a bit of French be able to help out. i'd love to have all those old papers have them translated.

it looks like Boelle No.8. - not sure what that means, don't think it means beautiful though. that would probably be belle. Could be a name of a family or an item.
Next line says suite des titres d'Ouge which probably means suite of titles of Ouge. Ouge may be a place or a family name, I don't know.
Last line says papiers concernant les Bois. Papers concerning the Woods? But Bois is capitalised so perhaps also a family name?
That's the best I can do with my limited French. It may be hopelessly inaccurate! Hopefully someone else can add more.

rian thanks for your input mate. when i put boelle into the translator its giving me beautiful. and when i put d ouge in its giving me red. you could be right mate thanks for your help.

true ed. can't believe the guy making the video did not try and look into those documents more. letters from the 1600s i would have been fascinated with them would have went back with some one who spoke French to help out.
