were can i get a good water tester. been looking at some and the tests only really test for somethings its only 1 test you get.

{Ed032's Note - I am not sure, United ireland. I was about to comment on your other post that I would imagine it would be expensive to get a full on test kit to check for all the different poisons/toxins and whatever else is in the water?

I will put it on the list for tomorrow and have a read up on the subject. Would be good to be able to test it yourself and would come in handy at some point, I am sure.

You could just get a TDS meter for under £10. TDS = Total Dissolved Solids. With distilled water with a new carbon filter in it, the reading should be less than 5, but with spring water, under 100 maybe ok.

cheers lads. was looking those tds up there so basically do they just tell you if there is a hi level of bad stuff in it. youse 2 have the megahome distillers im i right
{Ed032's Note - I have a TDS stick for nutrient levels for my chillis and plants. It tells you how many ppm (parts per million) there is of something. They don't tell you what the parts that are left are though. I did have a look around and I think you are looking at around £700 at a start point for a digital tester. Tests for 30 or so substances. Not found anything that tests for parasites though. Could that be why the left over from distilling is so gulpy? I wouldn't like to guess.

Yes, Megahome 316 is what I have (can distil sea water - the 316 is the metal grade, so it can handle anything)

I am currently having to run a dehumidifier as my home suffers with damp this time of year. I use the water that collects (4 litres a day) and distil that. Before distilling it has a PPM of 25, so I guess I could just drink that without distilling but. better safe than sorry.

Hi United Ireland,
Just a guess, i think arthritis could be made less severe by taking certain minerals, borax, zinc picolinate, magnesium [i.e. magnesium taurate, magnesium bisglycinate, magnesium citrate and magnesium malate], detoxified iodine.

In theory with spring water a TDS reading under 100 probably means it's ok, but you can still boil it and filter it as well.

You must have some mega tap water, ed032. My TDS reading is over 400 PPM and i now get that whiteish goo in my distil for about the last 3 months. Has gone last few days though.
{Ed032's Note - I will take on board the 'mega' status' but i will suggest you reread my comments, Mr Mushroom, sir. My fluids are pulled out of the air, not the tap!

My tap water is 228ppm. Which is good. I do not know what is being undeceived in these test. What are those ppm? I have stated I live very rural. I am so lucky to do so. Not so many people out here. I think less than 120 properties.

My life has lead me to be where I am. Although my condition is flawed. I will happily help any soul. If anyone is nearby, let me know. We can meet.

This isn't Tinder chat. Just awakening.

Much love,

'Mega' Southern Monkey. ????
