o so its work camps now is it. Tell me have you ever looked up what happened in these places? Go and look up frau kramer. Doctor josef mengele. All the experiments. Like throwing people in vats of freezing water and timing how long it took them to die. Or putting people in rooms and turning up the pressure and recording the results till people's heads exploded. But its ok the yanks used the data to make a space suit. Or how about stitching people together to make an artificial siamese twin. Go and look up places like birkenau, treblinka, sobibor, maidenek, and all the others. Go read the survivors accounts. Read schindlers ark. Go look up the systematic murder of twelve million people, fifty per cent of that number jewish, twelve million people, and tell me you still think it was a good idea. That the mono balled t**t had the right idea but was a bit misguided like you suggested earlier. Go look it all up and if you still think it never happened or that it wasn't all that bad go take a long look in the mirror and try and see some compassion or some humanity. To think that people can do such evil to other people based on race or religion and other people can try to water it down seventy years later! Sorry for the strong words but an emotive topic. Debate is one thing. Questions are one thing. But to deny all the facts?

While i totally agree with you that the atrocities in Nazi Germany during WW2 should always be remembered as acts of pure evil and its simply madness for anyone to try and justify them. But don't forget the British used concentration camps in the Boer war which seems to have been swept under the rug quiet nicely. {Ed001's Note - not just the Boer War, numbers of the Irish were placed in concentration camps too. To be fair though, the British idea of the concentration camp was not quite the same as Nazi Germany's. They were created to concentrate the indigenous population of the country into a place they could be closely monitored and kept away from fighting against the British soldiers and giving shelter and aid to those who were fighting. Whereas the Nazis used them to concentrate the undesirable elements prior to extermination.}

I didn't know about the same being used on the Irish, i only resonantly read up about the Boer war. The British we truly ruthless all in the name of greed.

But in regards to WW2 i don't think the reason 'the allies' went to war was anything to do with the persecution of Jews and the other ethnic minorities that suffered during the time, or the invasion of Poland, i think its because the Nazi's were far more technologically advanced and they weren't going to share it with the rest of the world (now weather the tech was alien as some on this site have said, with evidence such as the Nazi bell is open for debate and shouldn't be ruled out). Which would explain the reason why a lot of scientists working for the Germans traveled to America and the Soviet Union after the war.

The thing with the Boer war camps, its like anything ran by English toffs, they always cock things up. They truly couldn't run a bath. Not excusing it, but there was no malicious attempt to exterminate people. The Germans on the other hand tried to wipe out whole peoples. And used many in experiments. As the other guy said a lot of these people ended up in america, with all that data from murdering people in extreme ways. {Ed033's Note - The Nazis weren't the only ones carrying out disgusting experiments, the Japanese maybe as bad or worse with their Unit 731 experiments - www.youtube.com/watch?v=D7yDOXGmtro

Yes Ed at some point i would have brought up the Jap. Unit 731 thats them, at Harbin? i don't know a lot about what they got up to but very horrific by all accounts. {Ed033's Note - Allegedly Unit 731 was about subjecting captured Chinese people to biological weapons such as weaponised anthrax. The head scientist was allegedly let off of criminal charges because he handed over all the data to the allies.}

You should get your hands on irish history books.might make you look a little closer to home if you want to speak about a nation of murdering b**tards.im not defending da actions of the provisonal ira or any other group but 30+ years of retaliation in return for 800 years of tyranny is not too unfair in my book and thats just IRELAND.despite what you think you are one of the most hated races on earth for what you did in many countries around the world and continue to do now with the yanks backing you up.congrats on the success you shared in iraq.all those wmds you seized.almost as good as that vital war you won in the malvinas.
