Critical Zero-Day Vulnerability in WinRAR Has Been Exploited for Months
"WinRAR is one of the most popular ways to compress files, with more than 500 million worldwide users. Unfortunately, that means there are millions of potential victims for new malware campaigns taking advantage of a zero-day flaw in the application. Security researchers have revealed that WinRAR has been actively exploited since April of this year, but there's good news. RARLAB has released a fix, and it's critically important that all WinRAR installations get the update."
