Let us hope that humanity puts up a fight this time around when they are forced to cover the damages. If the establishment calls for wide-spread property appropriation we should redistribute their wealth.
The word economy (oikos=home + nomos=law) clearly means the law of the house. Seeing as the house in question is earth then the law is set by nature. That is why for millennia humanity concerned itself with physiognostics (phyis=nature + gnosis="knowledge") .
By studying the ways of nature we can establish a system of organization based on those natural mechanisms that enable efficient work towards universal benefit. No leap should be required to understand said principle as we are part of nature and thus what is to its benefit is also to our benefit.
The notion of money and its purpose can be better grasped by using the Greek word for it (xrima=use/ usury) . Albeit having a different meaning in our days the word usury indicates that whose purpose is usage.
Without delving too much on the monetary policies which guide the issuance of money, it is meant to quantify the accumulation of all the work of humanity in a system which should enable us to cover our basic needs and devote the rest on the pursuit of universal benefit.
Think of making money available to a member of our species as a sign of recognition of their work and trust in that they will use it towards all our benefit. The main reason why our society is in its current status is because we are rewarding all the wrong people with absurd amounts of resources. They then either store it thereby removing it from circulation or use it for personal benefit which in cases has detrimental consequences to the benefit of humanity and nature.
In closing I would like to add that money based on precious metals and other rare materials enable those with resources to control society. Whereas FIAT currency should in theory enable us to create abundance for our species as its finiteness is set by the amount we issue and not by the natural availability of a substance.

The masses have already been bought and paid for. Things will have to get really bad before there's any kind of revolt. And there's plenty of distractions they can use.

If only the governments would nationalise the banks, right of the debt and print money required. What reason has a country to borrow from anyone.

They definitely are using distraction and misdirection to control us. Evident in the fact that while our societies are declining there are those who are still dazzled by money and fame or new bandwagons (fads) .

As I said distractions. The masses are distracted by the likes of x factor and big brother. Dreams of fame and riches for little effort and less talent. Ala kardashians. Organised sport. Futile bush wars. Who's wearing what or sleeping with whom. The majority of people don't understand or don't care. Things have to become much worse first.
