Does this contradict the theory that there is an non-human race already controlling this world and using humans in a violent manner. Surely these peace loving aliens' gripe would be with the controllers not the humans.

{Ed033's Note - Looking at it from another point of view, let's say hypothetically a large group of humans lived in a large prison for a thousand years whereby the prison guards fed and watered the human inmates and then one day a group of ETs decided to open all the doors in the prison, i bet 99.9% of the inmates wouldn't leave (because their current system seems to sort of just about work) but they would also defend the prison guards and would attack the ETs trying to free them.
The reason i would think this is because right now, we know that we are free but people still want to stay in the current awful system and defend our prison guards (government) and have no intention of leaving the system even if given the chance.
Based on the above any ET group that would want to help humans to free themselves would find that the humans do not want to be freed and would attack the ETs, therefore the ETs would have a huge problem with the humans (not wanting to free themselves) rather than the controllers.
