The only reason I can come up with with why they're keeping aliens top secret is because they don't want to let any of the public know that they aren't in control of our sky. JFK wanted to expose them which is why he was killed. I've seen footage of the secret government trying to shoot down ufos in space.
2012? I don't think it's he end of the world but I do believe it's when everything will get exposed. From aliens to 9/11 inside job (illuminati) etc

I do agree with you Azza,but on top of that i believe that the powers that be are worried that the open existness of et's would undermine their power over people...it would almost undoubtly result in technological advancements in power,communication,travel,health,etc, over which they would have no control...basically they have nobody to answer to but if there was an acceptance of humans to a kind of galactic family then they would lose their privelege of doing what they like...its all an agenda with them...that agenda being their own personal hold over people!!

The reason there has been no disclosure up to now boils down to one word.....OIL! if we make contact with an advanced alien race with advanced form of propulsion the oil would become worthless overnight, and without oil countries have no power.
