Great site Eds. If nothing else it's a nice distraction from the infantile rumours that seem to crop up these days on LFC site :-).
Been reading the various posts regarding 911. Whether people believe or not regarding it being somehow an inside job there remains a very disturbing aspect of the event. For the first and only time not 1 but 3 steel structures, which were otherwise sound , collapsed in a matter of hours with fires said to be the cause of the destruction. No investigation has or will ever take place regarding their collapse. The debris was shipped to China, (i think), for recycling. Many structural engineers, architects, etc feel this was certainly an error, as the reasons for the collapse of the structures could not be inverstigated. Any air crash is stringently investigated by experts to determine why a crash takes p[lace. However, in this case the steel which would have at the very least given clues as to why it failed was never investigated to determine what flaws may have caused 3 buildings to collapse in such a short time, on the same day. This certainly raises questions as to the honesty of those in charge in wishing to scientifically determine how to prevent a fire from bringing down a steel structure again.

The fires became so hot and out of control the steel started to buckle and bend. the steel was designed to cope with a lot of stress from the buildings but not that much. once the steel failed the buildings collapsed.
it was explained at the time. shortly afterwards, and since then.
buildings are just not made to withstand planes crashing into them.

Each tower was actually built to to take the impact of 2 jumbo jets and still stay standing do the research if you don't beleive me! And both towers came down at freefall speed as if there was no resistance underneath them at all, jst like a demolition

And to add to that, aircraft fuel can only burn at 1,700 degrees max and steel starts to weaken at 2,500 degrees! To cut steel you need to use an oxy-setaline burner which melts steel at 4,500 degrees

The world trade center towers were designed in 1960. the jumbo jets at the time were a lot smaller than the ones used in the attacks. and they were never designed to withstand jet planes flying into them anyway. light aircraft at the very most.
and steel starts to buckle at 600degrees centigrade. it melts at a higher temp.
the steel only needed to buckle a bit for the massive weight it was supporting to collapse.
stop being stupid now.

A plane didnt hit WTC7 and an order was given to PULL IT which means bring it down..all this in a few hours,,takes weeks of planning to bring a building that size down..and we r to believe it was done in hours.

Mikey you have missed my point regarding the steel. No scientist or structural engineer were allowed investigate steel from any of the builings which collapsed. I'm not disputing the extreme temperatures did have an effect on the towers. However, your agrument does not stand up when compared to the colapse of WTC7. Yes this may have been damaged by falling debris and was aflame on some floors, but, this cannot explain the the demolition style collapse of tower 7. I look forward to your explanation for this particular buildings freefall into it's own imprint.

P.S.
Mikey,
Check out some details regarding what the designers of the towers said they could withstand and also plane comparisons.

OMG Mikey "the fires became so hot and out of control", this is what the main stream media say and all the simpletons just repeat it. If you look with your own eyes you will see that the fire brigades had put out all the fires and just some smoke was billowing out when the twin towers were demolished (wih controlled explosions - see Loose Change film). And another thing is the towers fell very close to free fall speed and landed in their own footprint and were disintegrated into a fine powder, a random collapse from buckling steel could not have caused this.

MickQ the debris was investigated at the time i remember seeing it on the news.
dunno about wtc7 to be honest.
tall buildings tend to fall downwards tho.
they dont topple as some people expect.

Actually MICKEY, no one was allowed to investigate any of the debris. You should check the facts before you make up lies. Disinformation is a disgusting habit of yours so far.
That's annoying because you seem like a smart guy, at least the DBTS checks his info out before he puts his point across.
