Saw a post about Nova Scotia on here, went to do some research last night....
What do people think?
I think it is a hiding to nothing if I am honest.

That is something that is very interesting, there's a new dig happening isn't there? would love them to finally find out what it holds.

But why would someone/some people go to so much effort to put in so many layers of different materials, flood tunnels and fake beaches! You don't do that just for fun!

Ash- I didn't know they're set to dig again, oh my daze. Surely a geometric survey of the area, along with an in-depth report on the neighbouring geometry, would give people more answers? Thing is, theyhave dug to reasonable depths in the past and found nothing. Then it has flooded. How does someone bury anything deeper than they've dug in the first place? Makes no sense. It is not as though the water table has risen by 30m in the last 130 years or so... I think this is something that has just snowballed and snowballed and that in itself has sparked an urge for people to check it out. I would love for there to be some magic behind it, by that I mean treasure, but I can't see it happening. I did only read wiki to b fair, so I will do bit more later and try different sources.
This site is bad for my time management :-)

I think it was bulit by the french navy to hide riches during troubles.
experts have said it does resemble french design of the time.
either that or a pirates stash.
would be great if they wound a load of treasure down there but would be just as great to solve the mystery

Some think the nazis built it and hid stuff down there. I haven't a clue but always liked the idea.
Any if you checked out project bluebeam ??

Ps. Eds- have you any idea why my exclamation marks do not work? Is it a google chrome thing? Here's one : !
Peace. {Ed001's Note - I have no idea, the browser you are using shouldn't affect it.}

Wow, both of those appeared fine. I have been using the footy rumours pages for a few months and they never appear...

Ash, good point.
I do not think it was built, I think it is geographical, the whole area is covered in caves and sink holes. That said, it is a good smokescreen. Maybe I should stop commenting, I need to read more!

Has to have been built as there were wooden platforms, coconut fibre found, and the tunnels to let in the water from the sea. Could just be a very old practicle joke, or something really exciting, I'm sure we will find out one day.

I personally believe that there is no way that it is naturally made. The fact that there are layers at different depths of different materials lead me to believe that it was human made.
Also to the person who said, how can you hide something deeper than you can dig! Surely they would have dug the main hole first, hid whatever is down there, filled the hole back up again and then created the flood tunnels to stop anyone from getting down to whatever is there.

Yeah but TB they stopped ANYONE including themselves getting down there if they did build flood tunnels.

'They' must have done it so nobody (including themselves) would ever be able to get to it then.
All im saying is, that there has to be something there because no-one would go to such an effort just for a practical joke or something like that.
What's down there is the big mystery and hopefully they will find out with all the new activity currently being undertaken at the site.

The flood tunnels could be capped off at the end that the water is if you know where they all are etc.
