I was wandering does any of you know anything about water being the new oil in America. I read somewhere that they drained some Great Lakes over there, so are they taking water from people and selling it back to them, and in the future water will be very scarce.

What they do is create either a real or artificial scarcity on commodities we require and suppress technology in order to sell stuff to us at huge profits.
For example, they have on purpose, created scarcity (real or artificial scarcity) on diamonds, gold, oil, "energy", water, food stuffs, herbs, and in the future they want to put scarcity on air, sunlight, all natural biota and they'll have another go at scarcity on carbon dioxide.
