Absolutely mental isn't it and the issue we have is doctors ect have no real idea how to deal with young kids who want to transition so we are finding lots of people are wanting Reverse surgery as they regret getting top and bottom surgery and in years to come it's going to cost billions fixing everything

I largely agree Ed032. Instinct and intuition are powerful tools. The mind is also a useful tool but is easily corrupted through socialisation. Being conscious of our feelings, the way thoughts manifest as physical sensations, is also a useful tool IMO. It can give us an indication of the value of those thoughts.

I totally agree on the 'know thyself' thought-line, but, I think it is better to 'be thyself'. This would obviously take the knowing of one. I think it is genuinely a submission to knowing that something greater than is imaginable, has a hand in play. We follow a path predestined.

If we have control over our lives, or the belief there of, we miss out on so much, as we never 'just be', in this state of mind. We just 'do', which is a program.

My mind is alive with thoughts. Always love your input. It is strange because HoneyBadgers are usually vicious bas****s. ;)

I like what you said about "being thyself". I think first we have to "know thyself" but agree that the end goal is to just "be" once we have realised our true nature.

Control, limiting beliefs etc are what keep us from realising that true, expansive nature, as you say. Keeps us from experiencing the infinite source of existence that dwells within. Tools like meditation, contemplation, self enquiry etc are useful to loosen the grip of those illusory limitations IMO. But it's a lifelong process that we need to find a way to enjoy in the here and now. If we can master that in the present, life naturally begins to unfold in a more meaningful way.
