How to grow Microgreens for food indoors, 4 seasons, with soil or coconut coir.

Great info here, Ed033.

I have and use a T5 setup with heated propagator for all my plants, but will be trying some microgreens, mainly wheatgrass.

If people do try this setup you can grow things like tomatoes and chillies in 9cm pots and scatter them around next to the microgreens to maximise the use of light. You will be amazed at the difference in flavour when you grow your own.

Just to add. The lights used in the video will not really be suitable to fully grow larger plants. You will need full spectrum LED lights or halogen or HPS (High Pressure Sodium) lights to give off the varying light of the Sun as it moves across our realm. Nothing is as good a source of light as the Sun though.

For instance, 'harvest' time is in the autumn for most fruits and vegetables (not all) this is because the Sun refracts differently, being further away, through the atmosphere giving a more yellow spectrum light which is what the fruit/veg need to ripen.

The white LED and T5 fluorescent lights are good for quick growing (micro) crops as seen in this video as well as some herbs (non woody varieties such as basil) but they can be used to give you a longer growing season for things like tomatoes, and chillies in particular, especially the hotter varieties. So rather than the start of the growing season being spring you can start them off in December. Once the weather starts to warm you then move them outside in to the Sunlight. Preferably into a polytunnel or greenhouse.

I didn't want people to think the lights shown would be adequate to grow these larger plants and expect to get a good crop, because you won't.

Not a conspiracy, but worthwhile notes for anyone wanting to self-sustain. :)

To be fair ed032
A good 600w Hps with good bulb
Every day consistently
With good watering schedule (hence hydro good)
And stable pH
With good air exchange
U get a lot better than outside these days

Thanks to the elite who blame us
Who themselves destroy our environment
Lol
Funny s##t in this world
{Ed032's Note - I totally agree with you comment, southampton.

I do actually have a 2x600w hps system in a box from the good old days if you catch my drift and yes you can totally control the environment. But IF the Sun was actually out you can not compare anything artificial to it, that was what I meant ;) but as you state the LE want to block it out with the chemtrails and who knows what else.

I just didn't want anyone to get the above setup thinking you could grow anything, because these are basically germination/early stage growth setups which are perfect for microcrops and for what I explained but little else other than to give you an extended season. You also would not want to start off germination/early vegetation stage growth under a 600w-1.2kw system as you would fry the plants unless you had them at quite some distance from the plants which would be an incredible waste of energy.

Getting a stable PH and nutrient level is also a fine art and not something I would want to suggest is 'easy' either. It is 'relatively' but a beginner would probably make mistakes which I think they should as it is all part of the learning process. Nothing wrong with making a genuine mistake as long as it's once, maybe twice and something is learnt from it.

Nice for you to point this out and your comment is appreciated, mate.

Long live the Sun and may it shine some more than it does.

Good post mate
I agree u can waste energy
But I used to like to get my little babies ready for it .
Just pull light up a bit
Two weeks later there ready to feel the heat.
Yes nothing can compare to true sun .true mother nature can never be replaced.
And yes your right no need for this if doing veggies and herbs.

In regards to pH
If it's a return system
I would allways clean the pebble because the dust sits in Rez and makes it jump all over the place
Also similar to feed to much food causes pH problems and the nutrients become unbalanced.

But yes when start go step by step till it becomes second nature .
Then things become more fun .

wee question for you ed033. water with a ph source of 6.1 is that good or bad to drink

{Ed033's Note - It's good. Have you got a distiller?

Ed033°, seeing as Megahome distillers are still out of stock. Is there another company you would recommend? They all seem similar but you have obviously spent more time researching the options.

Also, how long do the filters last in you experience?

My fall back at the moment is a life straw, but that's in the grab'n'run Z.A. bag :)

Thanks in advance.
{Ed033's Note - if you go to megahome-distillers.co.uk they don't seem out of stock. You decide how long the filters last. i think they can last up to 2 months if you want.

In theory you're supposed to measure the Total dissolved solids (TDS) with a device and when the TDS reaches an amount you think is undesirable, you change the filter.

i think it's best to get a distiller with a glass collecting jug, but with the distiller they are much the same as any other distiller, but it's possible, cheaper models won't last as long?, because you generally get what you pay for.

Sadly they are all out of stock, Ed. Been checking their site most days for quite some time now. Even the 'display' models are out of stock. The only place I have found them is on ebay but I wouldn't trust them as they say 'as new' or 'used once' which probably means they need an overhaul or are very used. Just wondered if you had any other recommendations.

I will give Megahome a phone call tomorrow to see what is happening regarding stock as you can only leave an email address to be told when back in stock so I am guessing there is some sort of supply chain issue? not sure. I will post an update when I find out.

The table top one you linked above is a good option for being off grid, but they can not remove things like chlorine.

There are some stove top ones about but again it is difficult to know how efficient they are.
{Ed033's Note - It's fluoride they typically can't remove. Chlorine can be removed.

new moon is tomorrow. Lets all try and see if there is something visible when it shouldn't be. I am guessing we wont as no one has ever seen it for the short period before new crescent appears.

If you haven't seen it on here before:

Prof. Dr. Gunnar Heinsohn explains his convincing theory on the missing 700 years of the first millennium AD. He also states there was a catastrophe that caused mass floods!

{Ed032's Note - Thanks Ed033. It has been driving mad all day trying to remember his name and find his volume of books on chronology.

I have the 1st volume, which is not with me right now, and even now knowing his name I can not track them down online, which seems very strange as I know they exist as. Maybe it is just a case of the English versions being sold out?

They are incredibly in-depth and difficult to fathom with complex charts. He definitely hasn't taken the subject lightly.

Distorted timeline evidence?

url:youtu.be/dt8o4WBGYBQ

{Ed032's Note - Thanks, p1. Interesting find. And continues to add weight to the altered timeline debate, one I am most interested in.

On the same topic but slightly tangent. When people were buried in the BC timeline, what did they scribe into the gravestones? Or didn't they mark the graves or even bury the dead?. And also, who told everyone 'This is now the year zero'? Early morning thoughts from ED032 ;)

Grow food 4 seasons indoors without soil - Suspended net pot non-circulating hydroponic system.

url:bitchute.com/video/msuelic0kh0q/

{Ed032's Note - I used to use a self designed NFT hydroponics system (medium scale) for a previous business of mine. The example HP system you have shown in this video is as simple as it gets as, like stated in the video, if you get a power outage it is catastrophic for any water pump system, I can assure you of that. 20-30mins of no power on a hot day will pretty much wipe out your crop. But I always try and use the Sun. Although artificial lights work well, The Sun can not be replaced to the same degree IMO and growing smaller quick growing plants, such as salad leaves IMO would be the best choice to grow.

I will also add that nutrient balance/levels and PH can be quite a tricky process to get right and dial in unless you are an expert in the process. Don't be put off having a go. That has always been my moto for growing plants. Just have a go. I would be interested in also finding out what you would need 'solar power/storage'-wise to have a complete off-grid system. Thanks for the post, Ed033.
