TITANIC - accident or sunk to ensure the Fed Reserve would go ahead.

{Ed033's Note - Why They Deliberately Sunk The Olympic as the Titanic

sdk
Hi ed, I read that the olympic was damaged in collision with the hawke and the insurers wouldn't pay out but also that the main opposers to the fed reserve were on the maiden journey of that ship. 2 birds one stone?

{Ed033's Note - Definitely 2 birds with one stone

I have heard many rumours about this. Some of the damage on the Titanic appears to indicate an explosion from inside, although there are arguments that this was due to pressure from water.

also, there is some issue about the sister ship and titanic, but I can't remember what it was, something to do with photographs of the two vessles together and the funnles and deck windows, they were basically identical bar the above two?

finally there was also something said about the company getting rid of all of the staff that had served on the sister ship before titanic set sail and a massive refurb to the sister ship which would go along the line of an insurance job, and a radical theory that the titianic hit another ship rather than an iceberg.

I personally don't believe in UFO's but that was strange Frankie. Bloody quick, too quick for a shooting star. Seems like a strange time for a fighter jet to be flying around, although as I've learnt from this site, we aren't exactly informed of everything going on in the world, so logic (my logic) says a fighter jet is the most likely.

Ok watching The Da Vinci Code (ok ok I know) but i'm thinking two things. Firstly it does build a plausible case, certain things do require closer examination. Secondly what if its a bit of dis info. What if there are other things that their trying to hide so put out something that most people have already heard of anyway as a distraction? Thoughts?

{Ed033's Note - Interesting that Dan Brown based the Da Vinci code book on what he had read in books talking about the mysteries surrounding Rennes-le-Chateau such as The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail book, but there seems to be no mention at all of Rennes-le-Chateau in The Da Vinci Code movie

That's true. i'd forgotten that. I've read most of Brown's source books at college years before he was even published. I also remember reading another book about the same time I read DVC. By Lynn Pinkett and Clive Prince where they were saying the real secret was to do with John the Baptist. I'll have to look it up after dinner.

The theory was JTB was in fact Christ and not the other way round. that was their theory.

The whole holy blood Holy Grail book tells the story of the Cathers etc and some interesting things, but then it basically just say. THIS IS WHAT WE THINK IT MEANS and goes on to ramble about how they theorise Mary Magdalene was pregnant and Jesus was the childs father and she fled to France,. but they do not have any evidence or anything to back this up. Also, IMO France at the time was tribal and the almost feral people living there would be unlikely to accept and take in a foreigner to their shores, your go, this story becomes more like a story that they made up.

What would have been better for them was to go with the Cathers and knights templars rise to power which they do touch on.

They, the KT found something when they were digging in Jerusalem which gave them immense power, some say this was the cup of Christ, others believe it was the alchemy knowledge or something to do with the philosophers stone. no not harry potter the chemical process! anyhow a rag tag group of mercenaries in affect became a power house overnight with immense wealth and power.

Their power continued even after their apparent break up on Friday the 13th and all that, and the survivors fleeing to Scotland, England and most notably Switzerland which still bears their emblem on their national flag to this day and also became powerful basically overnight with banking etc.

But as I said, it would have been better if they had explored these theories in details.

TA {Ed001's Note - how was France almost feral back then? There is plentiful evidence of a very well organised trade network with the Middle East region. The people would be well used to dealing with those foreigners, and would be extremely likely to have a proportion of them living around them. Makes no sense to say they would be unlikely to accept them, most of those attitudes you are referring to were later inventions. Brought in by medieval kings needing to get people to fight their wars for them, what better way than patriotism and making others out to be less worthy? You are talking about a time when peoples, such as the Romans, were moving around, tribes would migrate, mingle and become other tribes altogether.}
Agree · 0 · Disagree · 0

Maybe feral was a bit harsh, but my point was that the Gauls who had not been displaced by Romans or who were not settled under Roman rule would be unlikely to accept a pregnant foreigner and their contingent in their fold.

Was it also the same book that said the offspring of Mary became the Merovingians or was that in another book? I can't remember. Anyhow, as I said the interesting parts form the Holy Blood book was the part about the Cathars and the Bezieres – spelling. massacre and why so many chose to die rather than go free?

I know religious doctrine of the time was Christian and the whole of Christendom, but why turn your back on your faith to die as a heretic?

TA {Ed001's Note - the Gauls were a very mixed group of people, why would they not accept a pregnant foreigner when they were all foreigners driven out of other lands by the Romans? I really don't think you have a good grasp on the history of that time, if you feel that. You seem to be talking about a group of people using modern beliefs, with no idea of how the belief system has been changed since then.}

I have read a lot on this apparently there was in another scene not the one where they are singing but when in Munchkinland you can see it. In the 1980 VHS you can see it but in later VHS and DVD releases it was changed to a bird then apparently on the Disney Channel changed to a shrub. Very interesting stuff, personally I think it was a hanging

Yeah, what I saw in the VHS did not look like a bird to me at all. It totally creeped me out to be honest. The fact that they turned around and walked in its direction without seeing it is just bizarre, especially since they appeared to look at it twice. So maybe it was a fake?

Hello everyone,,, Has anyone heard of the web site TOR?. You can basically buy drugs and weaponary off it

Irish Red Jr

Would not surprise me if it was set up by governments to see who is in the market for buying those products.

The website isn't called TOR. TOR is the operating program the website uses in order to block the tracing of IP addresses. Without TOR you can not access the website, and in turn, their customer database.

The main website used is Silk Road. It gives drug users the ability to search out certain products from certain regions eg. MD from Cambodia, Coke from Peru, meth from Utah America etc.

I personally don't use it, nor have I ever but I know people that have. Packages will be sent in the post and the operators of Silk Road hold any payments until the product is received. This stops the drug dealers from making false promises. So far the police have been unable to track the founders, due to the none use of IP addresses. Some people have been caught trying to receive the drugs, but only by Police who have monitored certain postal addresses.

Although legally its the wrong thing to
do, it's a rather ingenius way of doing it.

Tor is more the project isn't it? (It's also my son's name) There's a browser you can download too, it acts almost like a VPN connection to the 'net to mask your IP, Melbourne is correct on that score, good stuff.
There are also suggestions that you can access the underlying parts of the web with it, unearthing documents and files that could be quite controversial and eye-opening. I'm tempted to give it a try, but I know I'll ultimately be disappointed with the outcome vs the expectation. :)

Mate like the saying "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is" meaning even if they deliver whatever goods your order, the people who send it could be anyone governments/fbi anything and even if they are on the level I can see government agencies monitoring or even hacking and putting a lot of dis-info files out there. a famous x files quote springs to mind, "trust no one".

Id stay away from that programme! You can access the 'true web' through it but what you uncover is just criminals and peadofiles! like Franky said also you don't know who or what your talking to on there! My advice stay well clear from anything they say can't be traced because 99% of the time you can be they just say you can't to lure people in! and if you believe a VPN would stop you being tracked your wrong! you have to remember the Internet was the militarys long before it became public!

What are people's view on the group Vendetta. I find them quite interesting and I agree with their views that the internet should not be restricted and that the Westboro church should be considered a hate group. What do people think?

The group have the right intentions but its the sign of the times they have to resort from hiding there identities with big brother watching. the freedom of the internet should mean that and sadly that includes ignorant people who write or chat obscenities being included in the freedom of speech as well.

apparently this stuff referred to as "star jelly" or "astral jelly" can be found on earth after meteor showers. Scientists cannot confirm wether it is made up of plant, animal or neither DNA makeup.

it got me thinking after watching v for vendetta about how we get taught in schools about people that were perceived evil/terrorist like guy Fawkes, like edd said he could now be seen as a patriot, does that mean we have to question everyone in the history books and I don't mean your Hitlers/Stalin/ Vlad / Pol Pot, they had the power and control to not kill anyone if they chose and they were running there countries, I am talking about the so called mad men like guy Fawkes like pirates, bin laden etc maybe its a set agenda they are the bad guys, we are the good and killed them before they could do harm to everyone. who knows?

What Fawkes did can be considered good. Pirates is open to interpretation. A lot of pirates were paid by governments to act as commerce raiders against other countries whereby little or no blame could be attached to the parent country. Basically war by proxy like the Cold War. Although a lot went free lance. Bin Laden well that's different. Whether he did it off his own bat or acting on behalf of others its still bad. Not sure the guy could ever be considered redeemable.
