Well from the outside I presumed it was going to be a shoo in for Obama thanks in part to his big win last time but I understand the opinion polls are quite close.
Mitt Romney would appear to be the candidate the Republicans will put up and he would appear to be the candidate who will appeal to voters outside the core support. After all, there aren't many Republicans who get elected in Mass.
Truth is we heard precious little about what Obama stood for 4 years ago as is colour seemed to capture most headlines.

For the record the person I was referring to was Karl Marx (German), not Adolf Hitler (Austrian).
The truth, such as I can see, is that the much maligned banking sector provides much of Britain wealth and without it our balance of payment situation would be catastrophic. Yes, things went off the rails but they are also the guys who can get it moving again.
The bonus thing is a dust cloud mainly. The RBS man's bonus was based on share options should various targets be met the previous year those targets were not met and the much hyped bonus was not paid.

Once again, it wouldnt surprise me in the slightest, theres nothing greater than a very visable threat of terorism to help justify the billions spent on the millitary machine. I also think its fishy how the whole IRA thing seemed to calm down and then guess what ? Terrorists emerge from the muslim world aledgedly attacking us. This will all calm down then it will be Africa or south America thats my prediction. It almost makes me laugh, the dumb amongst us now think that because our 'heroes' are in Afgan, no one can be 'trained' to hijack a plane because thats how the mainstream media put it to us. I honestly think that if Australia struck oil we would occupy their country and on Fox news and Sky news it would say they are training kangaroos to be terrorists who hate Jesus and democracy.

Sketchy info never works, first you have to get your fact right. Dont show people crappy youtube videos that people have made a poor effort at making, it just makes it worse, it makes your theories come accross as a joke. Just get your facts straight, make sure that your opinions are well backed ie if your talking about 911, why not get people to look at arcetechts and engineers for truth www.ae911truth.org. There are now 1000's of profesionals, scientists, proffesors, engineers, arcetechts, demolition experts.... these peoples theories should carry more weight than our own.

{Ed033's Note - No, we don't have civilisation now. Governments are beneficial to have in place. All we have to comprehend is that society should benefit everyone not just the 1% or less who think they are the elite. It's that simple. If you moved to an unpopulated island with a breeding population and then someone declares, "how about if this new society benefits 1% of us and not the other 99%?". I think people would say no that's insane, what we want is a new society that benefits all of us.

But in most countries we are living in that insane society where the society benefits only the 1% but only a minute fraction of the rest of the population can see it.
