Has the change in the calender during the 1600/1700's where we lost/gained a few days been taken into account?

{Ed033's Note - This is the question and to other researchers like Carl Johan Calleman, the Dec 21 2012 date is actually October 28, 2011.

It's also interesting that it is recognised that neither 1 BC nor 1 AD is the birth year of Jesus Christ so possibly as the Julian calendar was started in around 46 BC after Julius Caesar visited Egypt, the Julian calendar may not have anything to do with Jesus after all. This makes sense as the most powerful groups who think they're running the show aren't into Jesus otherwise they'd be a bit more benevolent to say the least. The Julian calendar was becoming out of sync with the Equinox's so under Pope Gregory XIII the calendar was altered with 10 days being removed and became known as the Gregorian calendar.

You'd think that if this calendar was going to mark a special occasion then the occasion would coincide with the calendar being at a millennium date such as the midnight January 1st 2000. This date is obviously not the 2000 anniversary of Jesus and not the December 21 2012 date

What happened at midnight January 1st 2000 was a one and only ever event where the main Star of Sirius was directly over the Great Pyramid in Egypt.

Good point Franky...its like if these distractions werent there people would be focused on the real important issues affecting the world rather than issues such as football, sport, celebrities, reality tv...the likes of that...kinda stuff that dumbs us down!!

To be honest when you look at who controls america, world banks , was behind communism and who controls all the media, (zionists) not jews, who are against zionism also, i think the world wood have been i better place if hitlers methods werent so flawed, it is the zionists who live by the talmud and treat gentiles (everyone else) as nuthing more than soulless beasts, who should have hunted down and destroyed, not every innocent jew, the world could have been a very differnt place, i think hitlers a very smart man, and foreseen these problems coming in the world not just germany, where zionists controlled banks and cinema, much as here today, but i think his hatred 4 international jewry got 2 strong and poisoned him 2 becoming a genocidal maniac and not the world hero tht he should have become, just my thoughts tho

Grover, have a look into who funded the Nazis, and have a look into the fact that the book Hitler read before he wrote mein kampf was called 'The Internatioanal Jew, The worlds foremost problem'. It was by a very famous American - Henry Ford. Hitler was quite correct in about how zionists were trying to control the world through finance and having governments in their pockets, ie Britan has been in debt to the Rothschilds Banking family since the Napoleonic wars. What his problem was that he tared them all with the same brush and he was a genuine racist. Germany never declared war on Britain or the US, many beleive that Zionists leaned on the British governments to get involved. Most historical programmes etc about ww2 seem to never mention that we bombed germany first and then Hitler retaliated, this is a true fact. To know more about this and where to start looking, have a look at the Balfour declaration during world war 1 it will open your eyes. In 1936 the Zionist movemet declared war on Nazi Germany and it was front page news in this country, this is never mentioned these days. Its no coincidence that the zionists had the Briish government right where they wanted them and also wanted to end the Nazi's rule in Germany.

I meant to add that apparently China Lake has something like 20,000 sq. miles of restricted air space. I'd say that's quite alot!

Socailism is the main reason why our country has had problems?so 30 years ago when trade unions had any powers is the main reason why we are getting shafted now?i did not want this to turn in to a political debate but bk in the day if i voted it would have been a more for the socialism way forwad but as time went on i would not belive any group, liberal/labour/cons,my point is the man on street is not going to know what bills have been passed or what liberty's have been took from us,we are in a culture of glamourising ,movie stars/reality stars/sports stars and to blame socailism is a bit of a stupid reply if i am being honest.

Firstly many things can be dubbed 'the opium of the masses' as an infamous German once said and not just religion. Music and sport too and others. Best to say that people do what they enjoy and don't look for any deeper motive.
Real issues? Real problems? That's subjective as to what you think they are. For me the problems we face are due to a decade of socialism in this country but that never had anything to do with going to the football.

Thanks for the respnod Rikki, I don't personaly subscribe to any particular theory on the matter, just like knowing all theories. I figured you'd have a pretty good grasp on the mainstream scientific thoughts on the matter. Admittedly I had completely forgot Kin selection when thinking on the matter, so that's where my struggle was at. Thanks

Solar flares happen all the time . Its scaremongering to sell news . This particular one is the equivalent of a mouse , standing 40ft away and farting and the news (esp FOX News) telling us to expect a hurricane .

Its a load of tosh

Jeez , will you two get a room ;-)

Science is the ability to predict the next most probable

Modern science is shackled by corporations and is therefore not achieving its full potential . Yes we have technological toys but we also have the ability to end global poverty . Capitalism will sell you the former and pay lip service to the latter

The moon is apparently abundant in Helium3 which is an energy source and therefore valuable.
I would agree that the moon landings that we have seen are possibly fake, and done so to create conspiracy theory due to the monuments and structures found there, but do not disbelieve for one second that we have not been to the moon.

So, Stop Kony, it's a nice sentiment and highlights a plight little known, but what happens when they stop him/kill him/capture him is that someone else comes along and takes his place.
The real issue is the inter-tribal fueding within the country and within Africa itself. I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised if it's caused deliberately by the "white man" to either cull the African population or stop them from collborating against them.

Note to ed: if this is too long, please just post TLDR!

@BUCK
This is actually a tough one! The wandering around for millions of years before our technological and sociological explosions is only an issue because we view it as advanced humans. By this I mean we weren't actually just "wandering around" for all this time, but the evolutionary pressures at the time required very different selective responses than to be "inventive" (such adaptations as antipredator behaviour, social cohesion, orbital convergence were selected for).

Current thought suggests that advanced social structures evolved before any major technological advances emerged. So if you picture a "caveman" population using primitive tools but having a society with structure, roles, bonds, 'rules' and - most importantly “ language, any single technological advance (e.g. fire, hunting strategies, domestication and planting edible flora) would spread through all the sub-populations at a rate so quick it appears instantaneous in retrospect.

The reason such advances can spread so quick is because they are not genetic adaptations, which need to be passed on through generations, rather they are cultural adaptations that can be transferred horizontally (across one generation), and be improved, within a single generation. Therefore if group A works out that using rocks to build shelters is a much better alternative than wood or straw, group B, who live close by and share relatives, will quickly adopt any advantageous advances and, as they will have their own method of construction, may stumble across a better method for building such structures. This can then be transferred back to Group A in the space of weeks or months. (This is why language is so important, and is extremely under-appreciated). Swap rocks for shelters for fire, farming ad nauseum.

I hope that makes sense, it's hard to explain without invoking kin selection and such. Such developments would have been occurring consistently long before 15000 years ago for instance, we were domesticating animals well before 14,000 years ago (the domestic dog has been genetically distinct from the wolf for at least 15000 years, suggesting it was being bred a good while before this time).

I have no knowledge of the anomalies or eye-witness accounts of which you speak, so I can't address them, but I hope that kind of gives you an idea of how it is plausible, within the realms of what is understood today (I'm sure people here can accept genes exist, and humans have evolved) to explain seemingly quantum leaps in human advance without invoking any supernatural or poorly-supported theories.

Sorry for the length, but it's my field!

Rikki

Ed001 - the only facts I have stated is that we are having this conversation using devices that are based on the principles of quantum mechanics. If it was wrong your computer would not work, neither would your mobile phone. If evolution was wrong we wouldn't have been able to develop antibiotics. While it is true that nothing in science is 'fact', there are things that are accepted beyond reasonable doubt.

The fact that we have orbiting satellites, mobile phones and medicine, all of which are underpinned by science, is the only evidence needed to show it works. This is my only issue. What's laughable is that you are using a device based on our understanding of physics to debase our understanding of physics. If science is so fatally flawed I'd beware next time you fly/drive/jump/use a microwave - God knows what might happen!

Rikki {Ed001's Note - not true, just because some parts of it are correct, that does not mean the overall theory is correct. It might well be right, but until we know everything, we can't prove that it is a fact. We can only say to the best of our knowledge that is how it works. You're clutching at straws there with the fly/drive/jump etc rubbish, just because we can do something doesn't mean we have to understand how or why. That is a pathetic argument and holds no water.}
