{Ed033's Note - How about this, if you think the British government are the enemies of the ira and vice versa, don't we all know that MI6 took over managing the ira and then got the ira to place bombs in Britain and the funds for it came from the middle east and america?

I'm not an expert on the middle east ( only had one trip professionally and hated the place, couldn't have done it as a whole tour) but I've read up on these Wahhabis and their a really strict sect with a lot of influence on the Saudi royal family. Even influenced bin laden. It makes sense for them to be funding Isis given they claim to follow an ultra strict version of Islam.

What doesn't make sense to me then is the Israeli link. If the funding comes from an ultra strict Islamic sect which would consider the existence of Israel an abomination, why would they both be involved I the creation of Isis? I could see one or the other on their own and can see what they would get out of it. Or is it a case of my enemies enemy is my friend?

Thanks guys. And yes Ed007, I have heard of the McCartney death conspiracies. I don't believe them either!

Much like Tupac, I was wondering if the Beatles weren't as poor or 'normal' as they were portrayed? (Tupac was given acting lessons and other things to portray himself as being a poor man - one of the Eds backed this up as well)

Why does America get the blame for all that is wrong, what if it is actually the extremely wealthy Saudi families that are financing, planning, executing a plan for world domination?
I agree America has a very shaky past, but so does Russia, Germany, UK

Have you never heard of the false Paul McCartney stories? Total BS in my opinion but there's a documentary worth watching just for the sheer entertainment value and the work the guys have done to piece it all together. The Last Will and Testament of Georg Harrison.

Hey Ed033,
While researching the Tavistock institute and the MK Ultra program I read that they had developed a brainwashing method such as the one you describe, which appears to be utilized by David Cameron and no doubt other politicians.

The most f***** up thing is people watching the staged killings/beheadings of American and British journalists and not having a clue on the real assasinations of hard working truth seeking journalists like Serena Shim.
The Turkish government wiped her out for revealing Erdogan's dirty strategies. The middle east is even getting more and more volatile these days and I'd wouldn't be surprised that the west and Europe now stand next to Jabhat Al Nusra (al Qaida branch) against ISIS, a sequel To the ISIS movie.

I was recently in Munich and had to go to the memorial. I agree Anne Frank, whilst tragic is famous for a diary. Sophie Scholl who actually made a stand, maybe unwisely, but paid with her life is unknown outside Germany.

Yes Che was a murderer, so was Mandela, so were the Irishmen mentioned above. But there's always casualties in a revolution. The point is as long as its not the innocent who suffer. Did they enjoy the killing? Che did. Mandela gets away with it because he repented it, and came out with that rubbish about forgiving the people who rightly put him in prison. And no ones taught it allowed to mention pre 1980s Mandela. Its all now become a cult of personality around him. But then the anc was heavily influenced by Moscow.

Yes I think the beheadings were done post mortem. Well hopefully anyway. It might be a bit of a stretch, but could the alleged beheading of Lee Rigby somehow be connected? It was a very public (however dubious) spectacle, and the shock value was somewhat similar to the ISIS beheadings. Was it an attempt to manipulate the public into associating beheadings with muslim extremism, and therefore make it more likely for us to accept what we are now seeing?

Hey Ed001, I didn't mean to put words in your mouth. I phrased it as such based on what I perceive military training to be, a war time simulation broken down to various parts, tasks and sections to enable the trainee to master different aspects of combat.

As stated in my previous comment, I do concede that some of the sports were designed with war training in mind, however not all of them involved skills relevant to combat nor required weapons.

In regards to competing naked so as to avoid cheating, that makes no sense to me. Granted, that is what I was taught at school as being the reason behind it, but it isn't all that logical. Being sleeveless and wearing knee-height togas would serve that purpose adequately. They weren't preventing people from using nanomotors after all, but rather sinew slings which are not easily concealed.
Also, what about their lack of footwear which has as yet not been addressed?

Can't argue the target shooting part, it must have evolved with that purpose in mind. From bows to firearms etc.

Yes I agree they will be dead but how they actually died is a different story but the general public needs to shocked by the deaths.
Is there a better way to shock than a televised beheading?

Location wise it might be staged and who is running the whole shabang but on the whole I think they are all dead after all in the great scheme of things they are not important people, just pawns.

Yes Mort by all accounts Gagarin was a thorough gent, although perhaps the first man to return safely rather than the first man to orbit the earth. But yes a wonderful man nonetheless.

It is a bit odd that Sophie Scholl remains relatively under the radar while Anne Frank has become a household name. There is a very good film in her name. Tragic but essential viewing nonetheless.

Franky, Che is a complex, divisive, and contradictory figure, but I will admit he is fascinating. Not a fan myself to be honest, but you may well say the same about Malcolm X. Either way it's always good to observe and learn from the views of yourself, Mort, Zari et al.

I remember one of my relatives went to see Gagarin on his tour of Britain, was up in Manchester, chucking it down with rain of course and Gagarin refused an umbrella and stood in the car so the ordinary people could see him saying if they could stand in the rain so could he. My uncle said that was taken very well by the crowd. I've been reading up since and it does seem like he was a thoroughly nice guy. Also got to have taken a fair amount of guts to be the first person in space.

I've also had to go look up Sophie Scholl and frankly that was quite a story.

I try to avoid some of the irish stuff because its such an emotive subject on both sides.

Ali, well the general public view is the one of him in his dignified approach to his illness. The behind the scenes stuff is quite shocking.
