Don't get me started on Barcelona and Messi! The whole situation makes my blood boil, even more so with all the ar$elicking football fans and the media show towards them.

Its more likely the psychopathic leaders will get rid of us first.
Its the young ones I feel for, they'll have to go do the dirty work.
I fought my dark little war for nothing, but at least it was bloodless. Not always clean but bloodless.
Now I'm getting maudlin. To bed comrade major to bed.

You fake an emergency so they all put their oxygen masks on then you pump through the system something that isn't oxygen. Either knockout drugs or killer drugs depending if you need the passengers or not. Then land it and either way they can be easily removed/ disposed of.

Apparently relatives were calling the mobile phones and they were ringing in the first few days after the disappearance.
There are also reports that Maldive Islanders saw a low flying airliner heading in a south westerly direction around 6. 15am on March 8th. Apparently some people went outside to see what was causing the noise.
Of course it would be completely unnecessary to fly over the Maldives if your intended destination was Diego Garcia via the Malacca Strait/Andaman Sea. Although it would at least be consistent with some reports that the aircraft was flown at low altitude to avoid radar detection, as it would take about 5 hours at a cruise speed in the mid 300's to get there.
There are still more questions than answers at this stage though.
Ryan.

Yes I agree its political chess getting played and as usual the people suffer in all types of ways, we the people are stuck between the devil and the deep blue sea, dammed if we do damned if we don't!
i genuinely think if we got rid of these psychopathic leaders we could all live together in harmony, arabs/jews/etc etc but they want us to be suspicious and scared of a neighbor's, it might take a world wide event before those barriers are dropped?

So what has happened to all the people on board if it has been captured at least one might try and make contact or try to escape. Scary all them frightened souls and no sign of anything.

Franky I only used you as an example of when people do not support their country's regime.
I know it happens all over the world, but call me selfish I am more concerned with home. Especially growing up with what we had, no one of a certain age wants to see a slide back to the old days. If you haven't lived under it, it can be hard to comprehend. There's always that fear, that pressure to fall in line with the orthodoxy.
I said earlier I had on occasion feared for my life. The worst was when I was summoned back to Moscow one time. How bad is that fearing your own superiors. Something you in the west take for granted is that you've never had homicidal bosses who can destroy your whole life, your whole family on a whim.
Yes Putin has played the game, given the yanks a taste of their own medicine after the arab spring. Well done Vladimir. And so begins another cycle of move and counter move. Nothing ever changes.
Franky I know a lot of English socialists have always idolised the soviet union. Fair enough, your prerogative. The reality was somewhat different. As my namesake found out. I also know you are wise enough to see past most of the crap on either side.

I am not a great lover of russia or its politics even though I am a bit of a socialist if you pushed me, and I agree with you kim about free speech being squashed but this is happening all over the world now, the russians are not stupid they have seen nato/west/usa manufacture the arab spring revolutions and have moved in, make no mistake this event in the ukraine was premeditated and putin has called their bluff, you may think I am a pro russian and anti american kim but I can assure you I am pro peoples rights not a dictatorship we have with 99% of countries around the world.
Read discussionA wheels down landing for the 777 type aircraft would require a permanent hard standing strip, something that wouldn't go unnoticed if you tried to easily construct one!
A wheels down landing on any type of deformable surface would likely result in undercarriage failure and destruction of the aircraft rendering it useless.
A wheels up landing on any surface would usually render the aircraft as scrap.
If this plane has not broken up or has been blown up during flight, then IT MUST be at an airfield capable of hosting aircraft of this type (bigger or smaller).
I find it highly unlikely that so called terrorists have an infrastructure that can, in this instance, outweigh the combined intelligence of the many countries that have an active role in finding Flight MH370.
Therefore, any reuse of this plane would require special protection that only a bent government could provide.

Slow down when out of sight to lower fuel consumption and you can travel much further.
I see what you're thinking, but it doesn't work like that Supasub. I do agree with you that the aircraft is probably sitting somewhere ready for some future sinister use.

But they're clearly excited about something. I was always under the impression that astrophysicists were 100% about the Big Bang because of the redshift in the light spectrum - but this recent discovery seems to confirm it somehow.
Hopefully somebody can explain what it all means!

Ok the Russian perspective.
Crimea is strategically important, a major Russian naval base and our only access to the Mediterranean. A warm water port has always been an issue hence that little affair 160 years ago and the Korean affair 90 years ago.
In the cold war we were boxed in, ringed by American bases, American missiles. Forced into an arms race which became a spending war we could not win against the spending power of Reagan. Then we have Gorbachev, after a succession of weak old men. And then it all collapses, the economy goes, Afghanistan, the satellites want their freedom.
Roll on 20 years. The border with the West had been pushed several hundred miles nearer Moscow. The satellites have all joined the EU. So have the Baltics. Kiev had a regime flirting with Brussels. Only Minsk remains loyal.
After 20 years of Mafiya, thieving oligarchs and corruption the economy improves. We can invest in infrastructure and the armed forces. No longer are we laughing stock. Again its time to take our place in the world. We prevent American ambitions in Syria. We have a pro Moscow regime in Kiev.
Then we have revolution in Ukraine. A new regime again pro Brussels. The Eu on the doorstep is last thing Moscow needs or wants.
So we engineer the Crimean breakaway. Never mind international law or the treaties Yeltsin signed with Kiev.
Is that enough?

I am Russian so I can applaud the successful completion of a strategic objective. I just don't like the methods used or the disregard for international law. If this had been the Americans or the British can you imagine the noise we would be making in the security council.
Putin has read the situation and the impotence in Brussels and the man with no balls in the white house. He can threaten to cut the gas off.
I will say again I am Russian, born and bred. I have served the Rodina, I had the uniform and the medals. I served on assignment to some lovely places and some dirtholes. I've been shot at and in fear of my life on a few occasions.
But just because I am Russian does not mean I automatically support the current regime. No more than I supported the one I worked for. Or many of you support your current government or previous ones (Mr Frankyscouser and Mrs Thatcher spring to mind haha sorry Franky)
I see the slow erosion of democracy and I am concerned. I see people arrested for protesting and I am concerned. I see journalists gagged or killed for printing other than the party line. I am concerned.
People think just because its Russians in Crimea wanting to be Russian its not important. 70 years we had austrians wanting to be German and a psychopath in charge of a powerful regime and people turned a blind eye. Now i'm not saying the same will happen but their are parallels.
Putin is ambitious, patriotic and in a position of power. He knows his history and how last time the Americans pinned us in and bullied us with their financial power. Now the situation is different. I don't trust him. he is a pathological liar. And a little crazy. I don't agree with him. pushing this situation over the Crimea. There are enough crazy cowboys in Texas looking for an excuse to kick it off with us without provoking them.
Too many people do not understand Russia, they follow the party line on Russia Today distracted because Yulia Shapovalova has a nice pair of legs. They do not see all sides.
Now I am annoyed and am off for a vodka.

Nothing yet, it's all gone quiet. Last summer a Spanish judge strangely ordered the blood bags be destroyed but I believe that decision was trying to be overturned by somebody/group but not heard anything since. Fuentes has been quoted as saying to some people that "if the world knew the truth then Spain would be stripped of their world title".
I imagine that those blood bags belong to Barca, Real Madrid, Valencia (as one of the doctors had links to Valencia also) players and Rafael Nadal (strangely injured for a long period at the same time the lance armstrong thing came to light) to name a few.
On another note the club doctor at Brescia when guardiola tested positive for nandrolone as a player (which guardiola got off due to some strange technicality as always seems to happen in Italian football) was one of the doctors at Barca when Guardiola was coach. I wonder if the same doctor/medical team has followed him to bayern Munich?
