One of my ex-girlfriends swore down that her father has had a 'incident' with Paul Weller, while on holiday somewhere in the Med. Apparently, her mother told her and it was a bit of an 'in-joke' as they were married when it happened....just throwing it out there!

It's in Turkey, who, frankly, could do with the $$.
It's supposedly 12000 years old, much older than Stonehenge, with much more skilled stonemasonry than Stonehenge too.
I'd not heard of it until earlier his year, & I'm usually interested in archaeology.
Khakipillowslip {Ed001's Note - the dates are just guesses, to be fair, they say Stonehenge is X amount of years old, but they know about as much as I do when it comes to that. Just like the Sphinx etc, it is just all guesswork, even carbon dating has been shown to be massively flawed and they had to revise the datings done by it recently. You are right though, Turkey has been trying to push for tourists lately, it might be the area it is in, a lot of Turkey is not safe for tourists and they wouldn't want lots of deaths putting a stop to all tourism. They certainly wouldn't want tourists seeing how they mistreat the Kurds, that would cause no end of trouble if people picked up on that and started campaigns etc.}

I posted a link on this thread to a very interesting video which shows a guy who decoded a monument in england which in turn led him on a trail across europe and the US following the "Holy Grail". He also explains in great detail the potential of how the "Holy Grail" was possibly a "Pillow Stone" and not a chalice.
If ED's can comfirm they did not block my post because of the link and I can show it I will repost it for you. My other posts made at the time were posted just not this one, I am unsure of the reason why.

Forgot about Running Man. Brilliant film!
Was only talking with a mate about it earlier.
Slightly off topic but does anyone else think The Hunger Games has a few similarities?

Read discussionI agree ed he does make good points and asks questions the show he done on the BP oil spill was interesting , bp having prior knowledge that something was going to happen or could happen and people high up in bp selling most of their shares and buying the clean up company not long before it happened and tie to a company that makes the chemicals used to clean it have you seen that one ed or whats you view on the bp oil spill new to the site you have probably already had this discussion before.
DELL {Ed001's Note - I haven't really looked into it mate, though he is correct that BP had prior knowledge. BP are only interested in profits, they care nothing for anything other than making money, like all corporations, and they don't care who gets hurt on the way.}

He's got a republican vibe about him? Maybe thats cos he was in WWF.. is this guy liberal?... Really?
Read discussionI think that could be a possibility how ever some of his shows can be interesting and one of them i actually think that police state episode was not allowed to be aired and one from his new serious (3) its about free energy will not be allowed to air but he does raise some issues. You have to wonder is he playing a role acting to an extent and playing on some relevant issues to make money but who knows he said something interesting at an end of an interview with piers morgan , piers said Jesse venture is a character ,alter ego, persona you have created will u retire it or end it something along those line and he replied yes and probably soon so i think hes just playing on the market of conspiracy theory's witch is a big market but hes does ask questions either way
DELL {Ed001's Note - you have to ask why anyone like him would do an interview with Piers 'phone hacking scum' Morgan really? Says to me Ventura is only interested in making money. Though that doesn't mean he doesn't make some good points.}

Im at work and the website is blocked?! - its wsn't meant to come across as an ignorant question
Read discussionWhile the "crime" on a social website is so easy to prove as it there for all to see. Most police would tell you they do not want to waste man hours/resources dealing with it but it gets reported so it has to be dealt with.
Hard one for me to know where i would stand on this as I know myself that any flaming on a website is just text, and anyone with any sense can just block/delete/ignore whatever is said. However I also understand not everyone is the same and especially younger people can be extremely affected by things that are said to/about them. Modern society, peer pressure and wanting to 'fit in' are all factors in this so I can understand all sides to the argument on this matter.
