When you look at those who go missing and are never found, I wonder why we hear such little about it. But as Ed has pointed out, the funding isn't there for the police to investigate all the missing people.

Another interesting facet to this is the amount of people who go missing near national parks. Not just in Europe, but in North America. Some guy recently brought a book out about it. Some of the cases he mentions belong in the 'high strange' category.

The black pope spent a lot of time in Japan and was moderator of the jesuits in eastern Asia and was elected to his present position as general secretary of the order in 2008. Do you think the rise of the eastern countries can be any way linked to his present position. He is a very powerful man who some believe controls the Vatican bank which in turn has a major say in world banking.
