Read discussionFranky yes there was plenty of Yes voters taking to social media & what not the No voters were only voting for things to stay the same most of us didn't feel any need to justify ourselves or go on & on about it because our minds never changed. 90% of the Violence Vandalism & Bullying has came from yes voters many have been Vile and for that I'm really glad it's went this way. Also Franky I don't think you realise how much Hatred half of this Country had for the SNP & Salmond especially within Protestants. The SNP wanted to take the Orange order off the road & for many that alone was a big no no.
Read discussionI will rephrase my statement democracy is working for less people today, drifting off the subject now but we are a country run by corporations not a country running the corporations.
Read discussionI never said tesco and asda was vote rigging, it might sit right with certain people that food becoming more expensive is simply tactics or posturing, as for the democratic system its works for a small % of the population the rest are struggling.
Read discussionWould the vote have been "rigged" had there been a yes vote franky? The fact that it seemed like more "yes" on social media sites only suggests that those people would vote in that way and to suggest social media sites represents a general view is wrong. Most middle aged and older businessmen & women I know don't even really use social media and they are more likely the ones who would vote no. I doubt all the farmers, landlords, old school business men & women of Scotland would use social media sites. Many people wouldn't say how they vote because of ridicule and reprisals too. I'm English and half swedish with some irish and Scottish blood chucked as have most of us I expect but either way had Scotland voted yes I wouldn't have been that bothered but I am of the belief that things are better off more together than apart. I don't understand how easily some people bought into the fact that just swapping one government for another would make the people of Scotland have any more honesty and power and less of a self serving government than they have now. I'm happy that Scotland is still with us, not for any reason, I just think it's better for all. Now one thing that does remain and is now enhanced is yes or no, Scotland is almost split down the middle which won't help to be honest and this will rumble on. On a slightly different note why is it that most english people I know generally in sport myself included would either want one of the home country's, (Wales, Scotland, ni) to beat another team/country unless our own, or not be bothered. But when it comes to many Scots in my experience they would support amy other team against England, I suppose backed up by a general dislike, resentment or even hatred against the English. Is this also directed at Wales and n. I. or just the English? I know it's historical but is it just because of things before all our lifetimes as there is nothing I can think of in the last few generations? It's not even as if English people I know think they are above Scotland or anyone else, far from it. And in my own opinion it came across to me as one of the most democratic votes I've experienced in my lifetime. Even the votes that didn't count and we're fairly insignificant were broken down to the vote and reasons given why. I don't think you could get any more of a fairer vote any where in the world which is I believe a good thing.

Read discussionYes I understand were you are coming from and let's say independence was fully explained in black and white for the normal person on the street pros/cons, my bet that the cons would heavily outweigh the pros in the press, I will give you a example two massive corporations asda and Tesco were allowed to make a statement that jobs would go and food prices would rise if Scotland became independent, how the hell can that be allowed on a run up to a vote?how many people voted no because of that statement?we will never no but I maintain if we had a media not influenced by corporations then debating issues like this would be crystal clear.
Read discussionWe may differ edd02 on this but let's say your valid points were raised, do you hand on heart think it would get a balanced pro/cons debate in the mainstream media?
Read discussionIts a very sad day for scotlands people today there's some video footage of rigging already exposed on social media sites, I was a proud scot before today and ill be a proud scot after, the voices of the voiceless continue to be unheard.

Unless voting is transparent (full name, i.d. or some other unique identifier) and the lists are made public so they can be crosschecked by every individual, it will always be subject to manipulation.

The propaganda scare tactics if there was a yes vote shows yes they were going to do whatever it takes to keep the alliance, hand on heart I reckon this vote was rigged.
Read discussionIt is said the powerful bloodlines are Annunaki like royalty and the top 1/2% who are ruling us.

Yes edd scare tactics are a propaganda tool to for the undecided voters to vote no, and this subject definitely belongs on this page.

Everything that Cameron, milliband and clegg etc are saying to the scots about how much worse off they will be is exactly what they will be telling the english when it comes to a referendum on Europe. quite simply if a politician tells you don't do it you will be worse off what he really means is don't do it I'll be worse off. they are terrified if Scotland vote yes then the english will want a vote on Europe
Read discussionSorry I do think this topic deserves to be on the conspiracy site, because either Westminster or snp are lying like I said in my post I am 50/50 because until recently I have not took to much notice, I do understand the no voters but you do realize it is a propaganda scare tactic that prices will hike up and you will lose jobs etc and look at the msm on this, all of them are bringing so called experts in telling the scottish public the only bad things, never the positives.
i will be honest if this was a vote now for the north west of england to go alone, I would vote yes because this system we have now is and has never worked, it has has only worked for the wealthy Westminster corporations.

Vote yes, give them independence it will be one more passport for me and England can leave the European union as there is no longer a uk of Great Britain and Northern ireland. and i'm a cockney red called O'Neill with a Scottish grandmother and I only care about London and Manchester
