Wife calls me cranky so no sweat, the patterson tape shows no human was in a suit, the way it walks is not human like the arms are huge and swing in a ape like manner and as it turns it head you can see the muscle definition in its back and buttocks, put it this way if footage today was found I would be a lot more skeptical with hoaxes and things they can do now days , this tape is over forty years old and to stood up the test of time in my opinion.
Read discussionLike KP I have little knowledge so won't be voting on this one, I am open minded though and interested in any links/sources that can be shared.
Franky, I have seen the Patterson tapes before but due to my limited imagination on the subject find it hard to believe as the real thing. But then I have nothing to base this on or to compare with I just find it hard to believe the way it walks and turns around towards the camera.
I would be interested in a poll, do the patteron tapes show a real bigfoot? To see what the consensus is.
Harold
P.s. Predictive text (annoying) always changes 'franky' to 'cranky' on my phone so don't be offended if I ever refer to you as the latter it will be a mistake :D

I don't know much about the subject so I didn't vote. To be honest it is an area I know little about and that only thanks to this site and people on here who are interested in it. I do think it exists but I would like to raise two points.
1. Academics tend to be extremely blinkered and only look for evidence that supports their theory. Any little inconveniences that go against their work tend to be ignored at best and suppressed at worst. It gets worse when you take into account commercial funding as then they are paid to support whatever view their sponsors are pushing.
2. Who's to say that they haven't found one or at least the proof and have suppressed it as it would raise far too many questions and blow too many holes into the established wisdom

We find different species every day but the question has to be asked if they found a bigfoot it would open a can of worms about our dna and where we really came from.
Read discussionAny basis for that? bit of a bold sweeping statement.

Plus watch the patterson tape, no human in a suit could hoax with the muscle definition of the bigfoot.

Yes Real-Messi, agreed. Those barca-stards will probably get away with it. Nothing will come of it, absolutely Nada. l. (Last line a bit cr*p but best I could do. )

I think I watched it before, but I will watch it again Ed033. I often watch these videos at work, and miss chunks of them as a result. I don't disbelieve the idea of bigfoot/yeti at all. Certainly if I remember correctly, Lloyd Pye suggests that we cannot have evolved into homosapiens as per the official story of evolution, and that we might be a hybrid of human and and extra terrestrial species?

Yes Harold I also voted no, but only because there isn't an option to say 'not sure'. I really don't know, but if there is an undocumented hybrid biped out there it wouldn't really go down well with organised religion, government etc. It would turn the official story of evolution on it's head.

Supasub I think the missing bloodbags could be very messi if they're ever found.

Probably just coincidence, but on another sporting note, what happened to the 300 or so blood bags of the sportsmen and women that were trying to be destroyed by a Spanish judge?

I have voted no to both the bigfoot and yeti. Not an area I know much about and I have to admit it is my lack of imagination that restricts me - I just cannot imagine creatures with such a large range of movement going without being conclusively found/pictured in numerous different regions.
Franky, if you have any good sources I would be interested. Also, that story of gorilla's being discovered I would be interested in too. I did read a few years ago about an area in vietnam/laos I think where an expidition had found over 100 new species including birds and bush babies/monkeys. I do love those stories, they really make you admire how great and varied our natural world is.
For that reason I remain open minded on such issues but right now I don't believe in Bigfoot.

If they know mars is breathable then whos to say they are not living there now, maybe that's why they are destructing mother earth and killing one way or another everyone on it?
Read discussionI too believe Mars has a breathable atmosphere, if we get it right when we land there. Let's start again hey. The human race. Planet to planet.
Read discussionWell said Kim, I have to agree with you.
Politics - As long as I can remember its always been cons or labour in power, as a child my parents drummed it into us to vote labour, my dad now refuses to vote for anyone saying "there all as bad as each other, lie's lie's lie's" and he's absolutely correct. People like Blair/Cameron are traitors to Britain IMO. We need to break the Cons/Labour mould, will it happen? I doubt it.
America's poodle (bang on) always have been and it really pi**es me off, lap dog to the most dangerous terrorists on earth (just my opinion), shocking how our leaders past and present allowed this to happen.
IMO we need to get out of EU, Still allow Foreign WORKERS to come as long as they don't take advantage of our overly generous benefits system, we need workers because Britains younger generation have become complacent knowing they can get free money (great, no need to work then) what a terrible attitude, if they don't want to work they should be made to do national service.
Where do we go from here? No idea but one thing I do know is, I want to be part of Britain again, I want England to feel like home again, I want the people of britain to be patriotic again, unfortunately patriots are now classed as racist.

Ok well first some context. I am Russian, I worked for the Soviet state for almost 30 years including 4 postings to London, and 3 to Washington and New York. After needing a new home I decided on Britain. I've been here almost 20 years. I work, pay my taxes, my children have grown up here and my grandchildren born here.
I like this country, I like the people. But I am concerned where things are going. The state is slowly tightening its grip. Police state no, I grew up in one after all. But on its way? Certainly.
Your political system is stilted. What do the parties stand for these days? Raised as a good little socialist I despair of your labour party. Doubling the size of the welfare state is not redistribution of wealth, its economic suicide. Your liberal party stands for what exactly. And the other mob, well where to begin. Economic responsibility must be balanced with social compassion. Hard choices must be made but for the benefit of all not just a few.
I think that at some point you need to make a decision on where this country goes. Europe will try and draw you in sooner or later, they can't lose the billions you put in each year and the Germans are beginning to lose patience. But they know the majority of people want nothing to do with Europe. So there will be a lot of scaremongering over jobs. Points will be made about your international standing and how being the Americans poodle has damaged you. How Europe is your only friend.
The contradiction is, funding Europe like you do is damaging the economy. This is the eurosceptics argument. Money saved could go on the health service. But with a growing elderly population and the need to constantly import workers to do the jobs the indigenous refuse to do, whilst paying them to sit idle, is creating crippling demands on the economy. That is the puzzle you need to sort out. You have experimented with a confused version of socialism that has slowly brought your economy down just like the soviet experiment did to Russia. And even we wouldn't have done some of the things you have done.
As I said I like this country but I worry at the choices presented, either right wing isolation ala UKIP or the destruction of sovereignty as per labour. Both present difficulties.
