08 Oct 2015 22:07:03 Yes it is ed, and where do we go? That's what I'm sort of getting at lol I don't believe it's ghosts as such I'm not sure if they are actually dead :)
I've got the handbrake on the brain tonight so apologies if my posts are somewhat confusing lol.
08 Oct 2015 21:52:02 Yes I was well into the concept of ghosts once, I have heard of all that but sometimes think the logical answer to that is the right one, evp's and Ouija boards can be easily explained. I think evp can be explained by static noise or the subconscious human element when dealing with Ouija boards.
I'm intrigued by our soul though I must admit, I have also heard about the memory thing too recently and find it all very exciting.
08 Oct 2015 21:02:05 I see ed, I just find it hard to believe they are loved ones from our lives that have passed away.
I don't see how they seem to be able to think and interact with us, without being a living thing.
Of all the things if ghosts were proven genuine that would be mind blowing to me.
I can get on board with the energies thought and such because that would probably mean the phenomena is spontaneous and unpredictable and not selective.
HOWEVER, there are some crazy stories out there that even if remotely true Would be wow!
I can see how 'bad energies' could manipulate a person into a dark place to do dark things e.g the haunting in New England etc (a sort of Amityville story).
If anyone has any info how they could exist as past relatives please share.
08 Oct 2015 19:46:39 Of course gunner, like I said I'm 50/50 on the whole thing, but have experienced things but I just can't see how ghosts can exist in the way we know about them.
07 Oct 2015 21:45:56 I will defo check that out ed.
Yeh its always one of those things that has puzzled me. At the time I can remember feeling a freaked out. Nothing happened it was just a uneasy feeling as it didn't make sense
As you are all probably aware I frequent this site and post now and then, I just want to let you all know I'm not anywhere as knowledgeable as many on here, so if my questions come across in a bad way or silly way please take that into consideration, I'm a decent bloke really. :)
I have an open mind and will look at everything and take from it what I take.
Thought I'd share a story, I remember when I was young, when I was about 17 and doing the 17 year old things :)
Me and my friends were sitting in a car and in the sky appeared 3 lights, they were spaced out about 100 ft away from each other with one of the lights that looking in front of the other 2.
Me and my friends high on life :) Sat there for about 2 hours watching them as they changed positions a few times slowly then they seemed to have just vanished without us noticing.
We went back to the same place the next night and there was just one again from what we could see (could it of been a plane?) But it was there for about 15 mins then lit up brighter than anything I have seen and again disappeared seemingly without us noticing, this was the last time we saw them.
2 of my mates brushed it off the first night and said it must of been planes (for 2 hours going side to side?)
Really I'm just wondering what your guys take on that was, it's always puzzled me and one of my other friends.
I understand this is not ufo anonymous lol just thought I'd share :)
07 Oct 2015 18:10:27 I think we will soon find out we are not alone, it's just a case of the relevant organizations getting the stuff they need to know first.
The real question for me is are the 'aliens' actually aliens at all?
Could it be they are just us from millions of years ago that knew a catastrophe was imminent and we jumped planet to another to ride it out until the earth became habitable again?
Many people who claim to have encountered aliens say they looked just like us.
