29 Jun 2016 13:22:55 i would have a better chance than chuka, burnham yes knows the city of liverpool are pro corbyn and you are right he is stuck . watson was a feller who I voted for last year to be Deputy Leader and I had high hopes for him after his role in the pedo mps scandal, but he went silent once his own colleges and every other party scolded him .
he is nothing more than a sheep, as for cooper she voted for the iraq war she abstained over cuts to the poor and not forgetting her husband edd balls part of the blair inner circle, she will never get elected .
29 Jun 2016 11:53:10 i think there will be only one challenger but like you said there is no stand out contenders,
funny enough the guy who went up against him last time would be the only one who could realistically put up a good fight (andy burnham ) especially after his stock rose over Hillsborough and also he was never the main culprits behind the coo, no doubt he disagrees with corbyn on certain policies, he in my eyes would have been his toughest opponent, but he got my respect by not resigning and kept out of it.
angela eagle is touted to be the challenger but judging by her own constituents she has no chance, they all publicly backed corbyn.
29 Jun 2016 09:57:39 i really hope I am wrong about this and I am overthinking it, but as the civil war in the PLP steps up, I have a gut feeling that any measures to get corbyn to step down will be used and I mean any measures .
bribing won't work or he would have been bought off a long time ago,
threatening is not working or he would have stood down this week.
that leaves either rigging the members vote, which is a possibility even thou his membership is even higher than it was .
or the last resort he will have an accident or worse .
people might think franky has lost the plot but this moment in time is as huge as it gets.
if corbyn gets in power again you will see new rules for members to get shut of the career politicians which is going to be massive.
like kim mentioned I can see a split of the lab party, its gone to far either way to heal and its reported that corbyn is going to go for blair once chilcot is public and hence I think the plp have made their move.
as you may know there is murmurs about the eu being let in thru the backdoor, which will split the tory party and its voters, also blairites mps who have resigned are all behind this if it is proposed, corbyn has gone on record that the vote should be democratically upheld .
one thing to note, people may think I see corbyn in rose tinted classes, honestly it was never about corbyn, personally he is not a great talker when he reads his notes on PMQs even thou he has got better, it was never about him getting elected in two or 3 years time, it was is happening now, some might call it splitting the party I see it as reshaping it, and that is why I have this uneasy feeling in the next weeks or months during the election if it goes ahead.
28 Jun 2016 18:02:49 deffo, they could not do it before the eu vote as it would have pissed off a lot of the younger votes and they would have got the blame for the defeat .
chilcot massive as its reported he will ask for war crimes against him if the report showed he lied.
28 Jun 2016 11:31:31 take thatcher johnson or cameron? trying not to swear . so I will use this quote if you can not say anything nice, don't say nothing at all!
27 Jun 2016 19:40:27 kim you could be right, unions and members actively proposing deselection which I thought was unlikely.
I am to young to remember the sdp / lib dems split years ago but this is civil war and nothing is impossible, like I said a few times the eu vote and corbyn doing a uturn, well one thing is certain if he voted out those unions that are fully behind now would have turned their backs with this coo and he would be out of a job now.
27 Jun 2016 17:34:21 yep mate there are to many things happening all over the world right and left wing that have 1 thing in common, a lack of trust in the establishment .
27 Jun 2016 13:18:14 civil war in the plp if it comes to a vote which it prob will, he will win . people who think because of the north east vote that every1 is going to jump on the ukip bandwagon are living in cloud cuckoo land . i am fully pro corbyn but voted out .
as for a general election one thing is very clear the establishment are trying to put out fires left and right and people are fed up, to say the tories would win is very premature as they will continue to attack the working classes and now middle class voters,
granted the civil war in the lab party does not help, but in reality this was always going to happen and is a watershed moment in labours history on what direction its going .
me I am firmly behind corbyn and I am doing my own small contribution online with grassroots movements .
27 Jun 2016 12:44:44 watson going into alex jones mode . i liked watson but his calim that the EU was a left wing kabul was a total lie, its right wing masquerading itself.
26 Jun 2016 00:00:19 i watched his interview when he got asked about that on sky, he said he would do the same again at that time, he met other left parties in spain and portugal and had to rethink.
also when he became leader he said from the start, his party should listen from the bottom to the top not the other way round, most labour members are pro euro so I guess he went that route,
i have read a piece tonight that obama aides told corbyn he had to sell staying in the eu by joining cameron in live debates, as you know he would not share a platform with him and was the only remainer who never sugar coated the eu, he was very critical off it, hence the PLP are trying to oust him now .
i think icke has got this wrong about corbyn, is he the answer? nope. but he is not a shill as well imo .
25 Jun 2016 21:13:01 sorry guys if you think ukip are their for the people. they are funded by a ex tory donor . farage wants the nhs to be paid by the people and if you think they are the answer then i am sorry they are masquerading as a peoples party.
i agree labour are as just as bad, and until they kick out certain mps then we are stuck with a establishment good cop bad cop.
i know people have questioned corbyn especially after his uturn on brexit, he was stuck between a rock and a hard place, he always said he will listen to people and i have no doubt he was more out than in, as the vote proved many wanted in and he listened to them, also he is very pro union and that must have had a effect in his thinking.
funny enough i put a tweet of support for corbyn and his brother piers tweeted me this
25 Jun 2016 15:01:31 liverpool is very multicultural mate which I am not knocking but I guess its a harder sell to vote to leave as the vote proved here 60 per cent wanted to remain .
like I said the main reason to vote to leave for me was there are no excuses on who is to blame for jobs or working rights . ukip blamed migrants tories blamed benefit claimants and eu policies so that will end in two years time.
i want accountability and there is no way in mind the elected government would have passed the buck about eu rules that would effected our lives.
yep edd very true, i have a gut feeling it was the monarchy bloodline elite having the power struggle with people connected with the bilderberg kabul, johnson would not have the balls to go public unless he got the nod from above .
expect ken clark to go soon as well, he is not needed now by his bilderberg masters .
25 Jun 2016 12:08:16 was a weird feeling last night with the events of yesterday, i have never seen facebook or twiiter in such a meltdown,
i hardly use facebook apart from to keep in touch with my eldest girl who is in austraila, but the referendum was on everyones mind, when i got asked by my eldest did i vote and what i voted then once i made it public, well the comments rolled in from every1, my youngest sister was very surprised also my middle daughter was in glastonbury (she voted in by postal vote)
well she was not happy and on twitter i have many people i chat to who are on the same wavelength but wanted in and made it known, people were turning on each other it was bitter at times.
so in a nutshell i had an uneasy sleep, deep down i know i have made the right decision but trying to explain the bigger picture to other people is a waste of time, my close family know my beliefs about my awakening but i can sense doubts.
i have always said things have to get worse to get better and there is no doubt there is a power struggle between two elites in play, my fear was if we voted in the far right groups would have grown and got bigger and bigger, now who are all these groups going to blame about jobs or cuts? yes they will turn their anger on the elected group in power and rightly so.
for me yesterday was a political 9/11 as in deep down i never really thought we would vote out, i always thought it would be close but would remain and once i awoke to the news that cameron had gone and we was out, well i guess all you guys felt the same thing .
now its time to stand up, no one is saying this elite who wanted out are any better, because they are just as evil but now we can hold these people/ groups accountable and like the icke video said, it will not be easy it will be tough but hopefully my daughters in years time can see the bigger picture.
as john lennon once sang " power to the people " 👊.
25 Jun 2016 13:36:56 human nature yes but I think threatened or blackmail is a bigger factor.
i was thinking what if I was in a position to make the world a safer better/ place.
would money motivate me to change my views and actions? honestly hand on heart I do not think it would, I am not wealthy that is for sure and have gone thru many hardships like most so I do not think that would be a factor.
threatening not so much me but my family or loved ones, well that would be a factor and it would either do two things, fold or come out fighting, I like to think I would do the latter but I would be unsure, that is why I admire so much people who put everything on the line including their lives .
