I've done zero research into this topic but it amazes me that people think this is a good solution to the meat industry problem and that it won't throw up a whole raft of new problems, including human health issues. It's like humans are destined to try and conquer nature, and when that fails we come up with a solution that (again) tries to conquer nature rather than work with it.

The thing is; If 'They' worked with nature (I can feel them shudder at the thought!), everyone will be freed from their satanic grasp. You could imagine this being similar to the situation with 'Dobby's sock'. Though in this Realm 'they ' would never do this. With them around, there is no 'free'.
What better way to poison the souls of this Realm, than to do so with something that is sold as being healthy and 'green'. I mean, if health and being 'green' was really the agenda surely they would 'mandate' growing your own and have the amount you grow based on the space you have, perhaps with something like a 'share-with-your-neighbours scheme to keep everyone in the nutritional loop.
But, No. Let us burn down all the food factories, poison the lands, cripple the farmers to force them to close and STARVE EVERYONE to the point to which they crave and buy our toxic cr*p!!

Couldn't agree more Ed032. I think our best bet is to make personal changes and try to help others around us to do the same. Far from ideal but as you say the folks at the top ain't guna help because their interests lie elsewhere.

{Ed032's Note - IMO, ideally we would go back to an old skool community and barter system. Everyone is helping everyone else and a part of the whole, whom by decisions are made. No need for money as that just spawns evil at the end of the day. All food would be raised and grown locally, and fully sustainable. If one community has something another doesn't have, you can trade etc. Bliss.
