after watching question time last night I am in no doubt that russel brand I genuine and not a shill for a few reasons, on the panel they were taking pot shots at him, even the so called labor mp when brand attacked the conservative lady about cut backs she piped up about brand shouting and made it about sexist men shouting over women, and I was thinking wtf?

i had my doubts why they wanted brand back on question time, was it because he was getting people on board with this direct action and they wanted to curb the momentum?

it seemed that way to me from the start, first of all having brand in a conservative hot spot were you will also find ukip dwellers which is fine as brand hand his fair share of his own supporters, do you think the bbc would have put farage and brand and they rest of those city annalists in a inter city like liverpool or manchester?of course they would not, as they do not want to show the real face of the uk, like him or hate him he is right its a diversion tactic to blame all the problems of the uk on the poor, go for the city of london fat cats first, once we have addressed that then look at our boarders and say no more if it is getting full.

Totally agree. Was a very good watch.

Was typical when the lady in the crowd asked about the problem with the (can't remember right now lol) and the dude didn't answer and moved on to another question

It turns out they guy with the walking stick in the audience who challenged brand to stand in the next election is the brother of a m. e. p for ukip, no surprise the bbc found that guy, like I said it was a setup from the start.

Question Time does annoy me mainly due to the fact that audiences are so heavily vetted and generally they are left thinking (pretty much socialist imo) audiences with little variety.

In fact the whole mainstream is missing a good programme where there is a great variety of people in the audience who can ask relevant questions to a relevant panel of politicians, business people, general public, celebrities etc of the audiences choosing. Will never happen though. In fact there should be a mainstream channel dedicated to it. Step forward ed's. You know it's the next step.
{Ed001's Note - you mean as celebrities? Only I would agree but Ed007 has a face for radio!!}

Franky, I replied to an earlier post on Brand but forgot to log in with my name. I basically said I wasn't sure about this man or his motives. I was sceptical of his relationship with Jemima Khan (nee Goldsmith) and the timing of him becoming this 'activist' after being with her. With you revealing the man with the stick, urging him to stand, has a relation in ukip I'm even more confused! There is something that just doesn't sit right when it comes to Brand but I don't know why. Suppose time will tell though

I don't trust Brand.
Why would the MSM give him so much air time if he constantly talks down the MSM/curruption etc. Yes he's very clever in his wording but its still obvious to every man n his dog what he is on about.
Surely MSM would not give him so much time on tv to discredit them unless. there's a reason behind it.
