{Ed033's Note - Ok, so the story goes like this:

Around 2012 a company wanted a lethal dose figure for C60 [Carbon 60 fullerene], so they hired a science lab to carry out an experiment to get the figure. The Lab started giving different amounts of C60 in olive oil to Lab mice, and after a while they were giving these Lab mice huge amounts, but the mice wouldn't die.

In fact as the story goes [and we don't know whether this story is true], these lab mice who are genetically altered to die at 2 calendar years [which is equal to 60 mice years] carried on living way past 2 years. In the end they killed the mice by injecting a huge amount of water into them, which drowned them.

In around 2013, someone 'discovered' this experiment had taken place and started buying C60 and putting it into olive oil to sell it as a life lengthening health supplement. And now it's available in multiple types of products.

We don't know what an effective dose is for humans to be beneficial or even what the actual benefits are and don't know what the long term results of taking it is.

I think it probably can at least improve eyesight a bit and it might act as an anti oxidant?

For all we know, an 'agency' wanted to carry out a large experiment with C60 in humans and the initial scientific experiment never actually happened.
