Yes ive seen that film very interesting indeed.not heard bout the black project space program but i suspect private companies are doing it thus not having to give information under the freedom of information act.DORSET RED

Yeh edd seen youtube dulce a few years ago, my impression of phil was ,either he was a attention seeker and a bit weird or it happened, personally i think he thinks it happened, scary thought.

He's also done great work on the nasca lines. That's a hard one for anyone to try and figure out just what it really is. One things for sure, it can't be a natural phenomena, far too many straight lines. And the depictions that are there ( monkey, man etc.. ) you'd have to be in the sky to see them. So who made them? And who were they made for to appreciate? Daniken is a legend!

The police can't catch every criminal so they just go for the easy ones e.g parking tickets and shoplifting {Ed033's Note - How about this. Hardly any of the intelligence on all of the criminals is actually being passed onto the police and as each police authority is a for profit company, each police authority gets as many police constables to fine as many people as possible unlawfully i.e Bill of Rights 1689 Section 2 clause 12. a fine is invalid without you going to court first. }

Now with this in mind, if just 0.0001% of these had life that had discovered basic space travel(much the same as us):-
100,000,000,000,000, or 100 thousand billion.
Then if just 1% of these had life which had interstellar travel, i.e. Light speed:- 1,000,000,000,000. and finally if just 1% of these had faster than light travel, i.e. wormhole technology, instantaneous travel.....10,000,000,000
That's ten billion planets capable of visiting us. Then you look at the fact that maybe only 1% of them are capable of finding us, after all its a big arse Universe then we have a grand total of 10,000,000 life forms capable of visiting us. Now do you think no Aliens have visited Earth?......

According to Physics, yes it's possible. We just don't have the technology yet. However, I don't think travelling backwards is possible.
Easiest way to describe it. Apparently, when you look at a star, you are seeing it tens of thousands of years ago, because even travelling at the speed of light, the star you are looking at is so far away, that's the amount of time the light emitted takes to reach your vision.
Hopefully, we'll see it achieved in our lifetime!

Well said Ed. Also just read out your little freestyle battle with Chris Tamworth, and we both think you are a top lad/ladette and he is a bell-end.
This footballer has every right to his opinion, everyone should get off his back.
Raz {Ed001's Note - he is not a bell end to be fair, he just has different beliefs. Everyone is entitled to their own belief, be they Nathan Eccleston or you or me or Chris. Unfortunately it seems you are only allowed to express your opinion if it agrees with what the PC brigade think. I have seen a load of people calling for a boycott of a rapper's record label because they didn't like his lyrics regarding soldiers. I just don't understand why they can't just not buy the record if they object to the lyrics. These days we have to have a witch hunt every time someone doesn't have the same opinion as everyone else.}

I've got nothing against being open minded Ed and believe me there are plenty of things (especially around 9/11) that haven't been fully explained however some things have a perfectly reasonable scientific explanation. The trouble with most conspiracy theorists is they won't believe anything. Your argument is that I should open my mind to everything, ok but where do we stop then? Or do we question everything all the time? We should concentrate on getting the answers to the important questions not wasting our time and losing our credibility on ghosts and bloody aliens!
My "yeah ok" response was because it's obvious that you want to believe so will never be swayed by any argument I can give. You will argue that I am just the same but it's not quite the same for me because I am starting my argument from a pretty strong position, namely, common sense and the support of scientific evidence.
And by the way your margarine analogy was poor
Chris on Tamworth {Ed001's Note - I want to believe? Whatever gave you that impression? I would much prefer to be able to believe what I am told on the TV and that the government actually acts on behalf of the people like it should. I would prefer there to be no ghosts etc, I am not convinced there are ghosts, but there is no scientific proof that they don't exist. No more than there is proof that bumblebees can't fly. How was my margarine analogy poor? I was pointing out that theories and beliefs change all the time, usually based on what the people paying for a study want the study to prove. There were a number of independent studies done in South Africa that showed endurance athletes performed better if given a high-fat diet. Yet the scientific community has decided that it is fact that fat needs to be reduced for athletes, all based on studies paid for by companies with a vested interest in finding that lower fat products are needed. All the studies on ghosts etc are done by people with a vested, personal interest in either disproving or proving they exist. As such any and all conclusions have to be treated as suspect. That was my point. I am just highly sceptical about everything, quite the opposite from those who want to believe.}

You see, you've just read what I've wrote, weighed it up and thought, na. This isnt something i watched on YouTube and went, ok, it's a conspiracy. I've looked at that event for around 4 - 5 years and look at the world today, to me it's obvious. But for you to say for sure in your heart of hearts that it was as was told, then do some serious research. Like I said before, if that's what you believe, then fair play to you, I'd never try and sway anyone into believing anything I say, as I'll probably never know the the full extent of what really happened myself.
Anyway, I wish you all the best mate!

Chris in Tamworth {Ed001's Note - wow that all you got? No way of pointing out where I was incorrect, just dismissing it out of hand? Or perhaps that was acknowledgement that just maybe I could have a point? Why don't you start again with those things stated as beliefs and not facts. Because nothing you said was a fact, merely your belief. Surely you are wasting your time coming on here if you are not going to open your mind and give people the chance to convince you otherwise? Personally I am unconvinced that aliens are around us now, I fully understand why you are skeptical about that, I am too. But I am happy to examine anything people can provide to back up their beliefs one way or the other. I would not just dismiss it out of hand like you are.}

Nice, Erik Von Daniken speaks of this in his book Chariots of the Gods. A good read and very thought provoking.
I personally believe there are other intelligent beings out there, and I always will. Don't get me wrong, I accept there might not be, but I highly doubt it. Put it this way, if anyone thinks that, in the vastness of the whole Universe, that we're the only ones here, then there maybe something wrong with your way of thinking. The problem is, most people that think we are the only ones, have either been brought up to think like that, or fear being ridiculed for thinking there might be. The funny thing about it is, most of the disbelievers believe in God or some other religious God, without ANY evidence of his/her existence. Just a story from a book, and dedicate their lives to their God. Even funnier than that, ALL religious books talk about God coming from the sky, let's say it's true, where does he live then? Because if these so called religious Gods are real, they have to be living entities, not invisible forces that we can't see. You see, the reason they don't like talk like this, is that, if ANY of the religious Gods are real ( and they might be ) then they must be from another world, which we would have to label them ALIEN as they are not of this world. He ho, just what I think.

Ed001 I am a huge fan of your football opinions however when you say "there is no such thing as a simple scientific explanation" you are making yourself look very foolish.
I have no hesitation in saying that it's impossible for there not to be other life out there but why do some people have this ridiculous desire to believe that it has or is visiting us? Just tell me if aliens are visiting us, if they are so technologically advanced that they have found a way, what exactly is their reason for being so coy?
I'll say it again, get a grip
Chris in Tamworth {Ed001's Note - I never said they did, I said that you have to keep an open mind because you only have your opinion to decide whether they have or not. As for looking foolish, I think you will find that I am not looking foolish, you are the only one looking foolish by refusing to even listen to anyone else's point of view. As I pointed out, what is science fact one day is often proven to be false the next, so you can't sit there and claim it has a simple scientific explanation. ALL science is theoretical, none of it can be truly proven, only proven to the point where it is accepted that it is probably fact. If you fail to understand that, then I am afraid you are the one who is going to look foolish. After all scientific fact was telling us that margarine was good for us, now scientific fact tells us that it is actually harmful. Do you really want to rely on explanations that mostly depend on who is funding the research? Everything should be taken as just one piece of the puzzle and nothing should be taken on face value.}

Ed001 - haha, i can see i'm never going to convince you; i'd rather not get into an argument but i'd like to know what your expereince with special constables is to come to that assumption; at the end of the day, they're good-willed volunteers who give up their own time to serve the community they live in; as for doing nothing, how do you that? if everyone was a special, there'd be a lot less crime :-) AG {Ed001's Note - except that not everyone is a special and we don't live in the kind of world where a special is suited. Most of them are only interested in the power that comes with the uniform, unfortunately, and not 'good-willed' volunteers as you put it. Maybe it is being a football fan and having to suffer the treatment that comes with that, from police who think you must be a member of a firm because you have a footie shirt on, that is colouring my thinking.}
