Yes, and I've heard quite a few different accounts of the directed energy 'gun' being real.
If I remember right a clever man / scientist called John Hutchinson had a big one on his van lol.
But he just can't get funded for his science, basically been cut off. no one invests in him because he is on the same line as tesla.
I even think he may have worked with him. don't know for sure as I can't remember if it was him that said this.

It does make sense. Although I think he was more a joint venture between 5 and the Boys from the Farm. He's certainly had a huge effect in crippling the labour party.

I tend to usually take Shaylor with a pinch of salt as he has a tendency to inflate himself. But 5 has always been (rightly) obsessed with the communist influence in the labour party. If I remember correctly Shaylor's first job at 5 involved getting current and prospective labour candidates for the forthcoming general election on 1992. The Wall had come down, the satellites were free and USSR was in its death throes and the hunt the red under the bed game was still on.

I was part of a joint Lubyanka/ Foreign service delegation over here at the time in the months running up to the GE'92. Reassuring our friends in the trades unions and labour party that even though the USSR was gone Russia remained a friend. Blair at the time was being talked about as the rising star and a viable candidate for a junior ministerial role if Kinnock had won. And groomed for higher. It was my colleague that managed to get a brief chat with Blair. As I recall he wasn't impressed.

Trump will probably win the election, but Clinton will be pushed in on the fix I think.

I can see another repeat of the alleged black votes going missing a few elections ago.

Trump might be an egotistical blowhard but he's no fool.

So she had two speeches prepared so that means what? All politicians have two speeches prepared in case of victory or defeat.

The Intel on Iraq came from a source who basically fabricated everything. What was it the report said, descriptions of weapons were more like Hollywood films versions than actual ones.

The point being who was this source. Did they just pay some random Iraqi to talk nonsense that they could pass off as genuine as they were so desperate to launch military action.

Funny you mention John Smith ed. I posted about this a couple of weeks ago when the whole brexit thing was going on. I was quite young when he died but my step father who was a socialist at heart but had always voted tory for as long as I remember mentioned him as someone who would get his vote for whatever reason, what little I know gave the impression that he was as honest as they came in a politician sense and was fairly genuine. My parents brought me up to believe that in general politicians were untrustworthy and some more untrustworthy than others. If there were any honest politicians then they were very few and far between but he appeared to maybe be one of them. Then just as he takes leadership (I think) he dies of a heart attack and Blair is thrust before us. On another note how does Alistair Campbell not even get a mention today? He just makes me feel dirty when I see him or hear him speak. Add Mandelson to that too.

Yep, that's what they call democracy haha. Sometimes you look at these cases of suspected assassinations and just think we're not much better off than countries that live under a dictatorship or communist rule. If the truth can't be revealed by the people we trusted to put in power then are we that different from the governments and regimes we call bad if we just give in to corruption and corporate greed. While all the time we hide under the veil we call democracy and that somehow makes us feel better. TRUE democracy would be great but power, greed and corruption will always come out on top if the masses don't wake up.

Just a silly remark but how funny would it be to see Donald trump as president. The guy is no politician hees a comedian. It would probably have catastrophic consequences for the country and the region but all in all it would be hilarious until lives are lost, then I would stop laughing.

We are now starting to see just how scared people like Branson are, these people have everything to lose and they won't give up and accept defeat without a fight.
The majority won they should deal with it.

I don't really bother with Liz to be honest plus a lot of Scotts did vote independence you say my "brethren" like your talking about the whole country. A good percentage of people think the vote was rigged anyway, even if it wasn't just less than half the country wanted to break away from U. K. and its common knowledge that Liz had her speech ready before the result. As I said earlier prior knowledge to what's going to happen. Balls my friend, Balls is having the courage to ask for a referendum and step into the unknown as a small country. Lack of balls is when you open your country up to the world and let them take your houses, jobs and benefits. Not meant in a racist way but we ain't got housing, Job and migrant problems as bad as the English. The world walks all over Britain and especially England.

Probably backed by big business, America and multiple intelligence agencies. The Intel on the Iraqi war was flawed and exaggerated in order to sway the public into backing an invasion. The powers that helped him probably won't let him take the fall because they made a ton of money out of oil, defence contracts and the rebuilding of the country.

You really don't like big Liz do you mr X! She obviously has some sway but I don't hate anyone for having some antique birth right. If balls were bigger then maybe your brethren wouldn't need to care at all! But as it stands.

Watergate isn't the only available context, you just think it is.

You said yourself the largest was 1860-61, it's also the most relevant because of secession, but just because we can't go ask people who lived through it doesn't alter the fact that a Texit would be the largest constitutional crisis since then, and not Watergate.
