Total goes to EU 20 billion a year
10 comes back in rebate but! 12 months later
Another 6 comes back with strings attached
And if we don't do as told we get a fine extortionate one

hindus and sikhs came here, made a massive contribution and were some of the most respectful towards queen and country.

A lot that I knew that had family here before I was born voted out. Birmingham and Wolverhampton holds a big community there so they to did good for this country.

Yes ed. The other thing that's odd about this "mass" protest is that the country is in absolute disarray. Yet all services etc running the same. The only protest I've seen is the online petition, it's hardly a reaction. In france the slightest mention of a reduction in workers rights etc causes mass strikes disrupting the whole country like we saw in the last couple of months.

Here we have an online petition that's just been hijacked. No mass protests that I can think of. Apparently there were marches but nothing reported. It's the media again whipping up a sh*t storm that isn't happening.

Your right ed. I meant robust in the fact that he seemed uncomfortable. If he had come out for leave against his party I would have given him my next vote, voting labour for the first time. Because he would have been the only "party leader" who agreed with my principles.

Absolutely ed. I've never felt so proud of my one vote when I woke up in the morning. I always vote as I don't think I can moan if I don't vote. But this paricular vote I cast I presumed was for a losing vote but cast it with my heart.

It's strange to hear people discussing this vote in shops etc as a general election is usually forgotten within hours but this one seems to have people I wouldn't expect annoyed with the vote because they think freedom is a bigger increasing population under undemocratic law, if that's the best way to describe it, when freedom is actually the opposite.

it's individuality and getting along. I really feel there has been a massive positive shift these last couple of days but the media and remain supporters are saying different. I just find it really odd.

corbyn has lost the trust of his party and its supporters, also taking away the whole eu business, his time as leader so far has been underwhelming to say the least, the trouble is image wise the labour party is seen as a just the same as the tory party, as a labour voter they really need to rip it up and start again ( as the song goes}, the main job of the opposition party is to oppose and god knows there is plenty going on to oppose, if he had lead a leave campaign his future would look a lot brighter than it does, I reckon we will have new leaders in both the 2 main parties by October.

BBC up to a few hours ago were reporting it as genuine. I saw the fraud get mentioned on twitter. I had to run the technical details past someone but supposedly they've written a computer program that can sign the petition with a fake email address and a randomly selected but real uk postcode every 15 seconds.

Supposedly parliament agency responsible for these petitions is checking the claims.

Quite a lot. Hence the pollsters keep getting it wrong like GE'15 predicting hung parliament or labour win and on Thursday predicting a remain win.

Sky, BBC etc all analysis is done to present a certain viewpoint.

Pick up any newspaper and the owners agenda is pushed.

This is the good thing about being freelance. More independence. If what gets produced doesn't fit what they wanted then too bad. I can only go on what's genuinely out there, and at the moment there's anger, confusion and a sense of betrayal.

Can't see how they could now that it's on mainstream media for everyone to see ed, but seeing how desperate they aren't wouldn't put it past them trying, people need to keep an eye on things now.

4chan? They're still going? Fair enough. They tried to send Bieber to North Korea via a rigged vote. They also sent Katy Perry to a school for deaf kids which backfired horribly on them, as she got huge publicity for actually going ahead with it and her album sales went mental.

Funnily enough, 4Chan did used to like rigging votes a lot. I also remember some guy (who you wouldn't think to hire as a model) put his name in for a modeling contract which was to be won via an online voting contest. 4Chan made sure he won and he actually got the contract too.

Seems plausible that they would do it. I mean, this is the forum which spawned the infamous hacker group, "Anonymous".

I voted leave and I generally vote tory with my head. I couldn't ever imagine voting for corbyn as he doesn't seem robust enough and doesn't seem to be someone that I can engage with. But I think he's a good person. Doesn't make him a good politician.

It's as if many remain voters think that eu politicians only have our best interests at heart. Like it's some big sweet shop. How does anyone really know what money we get back anyway?

No one has even been able to put a correct figure on anything. It's farcical and if people think that having integration in a system like that is some sort of people coming together as one happy family are absolutely deluded. Many people (lots of adults) are taking anything said word for word.

Whenever I hear a politician speak, I just think who is this person and what is their motive. I've never trusted any politicians from my early 20's which was something my parents instilled in me. They always voted though either with their head or their heart.

I've never voted for labour, yes I'll admit it because I don't think they ever implement what they stand for but I've got to feel sorry for corbyn because right from the start he never believed in the remain camp but was forced into a corner.

My step father who died over 10 years ago who was a socialist at heart but generally voted tory said John Smith (I think) was the one that he was excited about and would get his vote for the first time. Then he died suddenly of a heart attack and along came Blair. Followed by Darling and Mandelson.

Just one of them gives me a knot in my stomach just thinking of the audacity of some of the things they would come out with. Many labour voters didn't seem to realise that they were basically tories themselves.

How much do you give and how much do you get?

By the way, Northern Ireland is an artificial economy propped up by EU grants and British taxpayers money. No offence to my brothers and sisters up north, but its economy is a complete basket case.

Kim's right about the fraud claim, apparently many thousands of votes had been lodged by people from overseas. 40,000 alone from Vatican city! which only has 800 inhabitants, I think it was?, also Germany USA and Syria would you believe, if this is found to be the case then the petition should be squashed surely?

Just out of a matter of interest Kim, of topic a bit, after reading your post, how much of the political analysing is manipulated by the MSM to suit an agenda?
