Jfk was a world leader and probably one of the most popular presidents ever. John Lennon was one of the leading musicians of the last century. Hardly good comparisons to piers Morgan or an obscure band most people had never heard of!

Terrorism is about creating terror. Disrupting peoples lives, stopping business as usual. Slaughtering people by the dozen creates terror. Assassinating piers Morgan not as much. Its about creating the thought if we can get to them we can get to you. Articles on 7/ 7 come out every anniversary.

that's the way it has always been hsf, you could massacre 100 people in a cinema for example but if you shot dead harry styles his death would get get far more coverage, plus you would give him automatic legendary status, why? because we turn entertainers into false idols look at Hollywood, that whole place is designed for the shallow and selfish in society, whilst still being evidently racists, but they don't give a damn as long as they get awarded a Oscar to show how great they are.

it still shows where "normal folk" are in the pecking order our lives are not as important as that of famous people, plus the msm don't mention the 7/7 bombing because there are more questions than answers as regards to that incident, they don't mind us mentioning lennon and jfk as enough time has elapsed to muddy both murders, with the amount of books that have been published on both subjects.

Sorry but if I shot a famous person as an example - Piers Morgan, it would make the news immediately, there would be national and international tributes in the papers, social media and a huge amount of celebrities would be taking to the media to talk about it.

If I killed 10 people who were not even domestically or locally famous, then no one would care except for the family of the victims.
There would be a small bit in the paper, the local news station and radio station.

The Paris attacks made the news, sure. But only because of the attacks on Charlie Hebdo earlier on. If the lead singer or drummer got killed from the band that was playing, then we'd still be seeing it everywhere, there would be a daily countdown to the anniversary and all sorts.


When was the last time you saw a news article on the Madrid Bombing or the 7/ 7 Bombing in London? Yet we still talk about JFK and John Lennon.

One thing I did find strange about the concert hall shooting.

If you were a "terrorist" and wanted to make a statement, you'd 100% shoot the guys on stage, right?

I mean if you really wanted to make the news, you'd sneak in, get on stage, shoot the band and then take aim at the crowd. At least, that's how I would have done things anyway, but luckily for the world, I am not a loonie and don't intend on shooting anyone.

The IRA had master bombers who down through the years perfected their skills and indeed came up some very clever methods of causing the most destruction. Security forces were able to attach bombs to certain makers and their students due to their make up. When these guys stood down the ability for what was left in the organisation to carry out a successful bombing campaign was virtually wiped. There has been attempts which were crude and had limited success. A while back a device was used which suggest 1 of the top makers had at very least shared some information if not made a more than capable devise. But once again you can have the best maker at your disposal and it can count for nothing if intelligents is on top of the organisation.
A few weeks back it was suggested and must likely correct that the Shankill bomb was tampered with by either a member who had been turned or intelligence acting on the information by a member.

I agree anyone *should* be able to stick a time pencil in some plastique. But the more complex the device the more the technical skill goes up.

Manuals on how to make a nuclear device are all over the internet but you still need certain engineering skills even if you have access to the materials.

Same with bomb making. I can give mr philby a shopping list for B and Q and garden centre and leave him the step by step instructions on how to do it but I'd prefer to be a few miles away whilst he does it. It only takes one mistake by an unskilled or inexperienced pair of hands. Of course the same applies with someone skilled or experienced but the odds change somewhat.

Personally if I was running something like that i'd want someone with some basic engineering skill doing the actual assembling rather than eager but unskilled volunteers.

If it was as simple as just downloading a manual off the internet, going shopping for kit, and tinkering in the kitchen, then given the amount of people out there with grievances against the rest of society then wouldn't there be regular occurrences?

The sad thing about the whole thing thou ed is that they are a small group known to security forces and are and mostly likely being marshalled by them. Any success is not because the operatives are skilled in guerilla warfare but because security let them for what ever agenda they have.

I'd assume leg injuries, usually set under front drivers side wheel arch held in place by magnet and rigged with a mercury tilt switch.
The favour explosives used was semtex, a small amount could do a lot of damage and easier to conceal, and with the tilt switch the planter does not need to hang around.
The availability of an explosive like semtex to the "new IRA" would be very limited plus the availability of an experienced bomb maker also as the Provisionals took most of their main operatives along with them into the piece process and buried their hugh stocks of semtex in large secret bunkers.
There was always a chance that rogue
members with bomb making skills have renegaded back to those that choose to continue the "armed struggle" and not all the explosives were put out of reach. Semtex is a stable substance with a long shelf life.

The victim was seriously injured and in a stable condition in hospital. What possible injuries could he have received? It was nice of the emergency services to leave the electrics on when there was a fire risk and shut the doors all neat and tidy.
In fact if you read the report the bomb only partially went off, does that van look like it's had a once over with the bomb disposal squad, wouldn't they shut the electrics off?
The bomb was found to have been made of semtex - that's just a blatant lie not worth commenting on.

Yh I've seen new xfiles it's a bit of entertainment but that's it and when they do touch good subjects it's very Mickey Mouse instead of a more serious approach.
But the fringe is one of the best program's I have watched from a science view of things and I have also thought the same about the things that happen.
There's a video on youtube where a scientist is asking for other scientists to ignore what there indoctrinated though college and so on but work on the princepals of what tesla and real scientist work too.
And also Einstein was a fraud to send all scientist and future scientist in the wrong directions and also with limits to what can be achieved .
Then if u think certain religions or culture meditate and hum at the same time witch will make there body vibrate.
Real truth is probably it's more than possible these things can happen .
But I wouldn't blame this type thing being hidden from humanity.
Just imagine if every major nation in the world science dept was jumping from dimension it would probably implode lol
But there's also Hutchinson and the Hutchinson effect witch half proves mainstream science is allways going the wrong direction .

Haven't seen the final episode of x-files but apart from the first episode I have been really dissapointed. Chris carter did the first episode, 5 and 6. It's like he touched on several different things on the first episode and didn't go any further with any of it, which is odd.
