You missed off Mandela and the ira guys as well.

Obama was a really strange one. Utterly bizarre.

I think the next one is between Putin and Netanyahu. Maybe a joint award?

If businesses move out of Scotland in the event of a yes vote then in the capatalist era we're in surely means someone will come in and take its place. It would make no sense to do that. Tesco for example said they wouldn't leave why should they its for the Scottish people to decide and we'll still be here.

I'm a yes voter and I like to stress that it is no way anything to do with hating the English as some people are stating online or on interviews from sly news. I believe Westminster/London has separated itself from the rest of the U. K and I'm voting yes so scotland can make its own decision for its self and for many other reasons but to many to list.
As for salmond I ain't voting for him on the 18th by that logic you would only vote no cause u like Cameron

To the above anonymous poster!
Think you have been reading one of project fears posters.
Firs of all, you state most of the big companies based in Scotland would leave post independence and head south. Care to explain your reasoning behind this comment?
Scotland as a major oil and gas producer, exporter could lower the fuel duty for internal consumption meaning Scotland would in a commercial market be very attractive to international investment. You ask what would happen to our share of debt (the debt unionist governments have accrued). What about the share of assets Scotland would gain? You state Scotland won`t get the pound, Britain is not the only place who use the pound a a currency!. I would favor a Scottish pound with parity with the rest of the UK for a period of five years (I believe after that period the Scottish economy/pound will be stronger than the rest of the UKs). The reason why the countries you have mentioned where in financial trouble was more to do with international banking greed and criminality, especially the dumping of American sub prime debt on to the world markets. The old oil is running out chestnut, Iv`e been hearing that from the seventies when oil was first found! just when the British government were going cap in hand to the IMF for hand outs, then realized there was oil said it`s ok we don`t need the loans anymore. There was exploration rigs set up on the Firth of Clyde in the eighties, and they found massive oil and possible gas deposits too, but were hushed up as the MOD didn`t want oil industry about the faslane nuclear base. Experts believe there could be trillions of pounds worth of oil of the west coast of Scotland. I`m sure Scotland could fund an army, as we would`nt be getting involved in Americas foreign policy mess, like Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya to name but a few. Faslane would be Scotlands main naval base, Faslane does not support the local community, you had a look at Helensburgh lately, very rundown! You claim " what would happen to the NHS". The torys are privatizing the NHS in England bit by bit. Another Tory lie, free proscription charge et al. don`t you know we pay for these services through taxes.

Lenny most of the big companies based in Scotland will pull out and head south leading to mass unemployment.

What happens to your share of the debt? Its royal bank of Scotland after all.

You won't get the pound as your currency so Salmond will have you in the euro in a blink. Not a good move as the Greeks, Italians, Spanish, Irish and Portuguese will attest.

The oil is running out.

What happens to all the Scottish army units. An independent Scotland can't afford them and London won't pay for them so come the next round of defence cuts there all gone.

Close the nuclear sub bases and they all get moved south. But what happens to the local businesses that rely on those bases.

What happens to the nhs, what happens to free perscriptions. Free university places.

Irs been badly thought out and the snp have no answers.

Being Scottish this is our chance to break free.

I feel if we do this maybe 10/15 years away another parts of the UK & north England will vote too.

I am a yes voter however yes or no I think it will come down to 1%. I was still in nappies when Thatcher was in power so I didn't feel the affect of her however I don't know any good word she done for Scotland other than the NHS & buying you're council home.

Labour in Scotland is broken, best bet would be independent with Labour running it.

I have also heard that the PM is going to stay in Scotland for the last 2 weeks of the campaign which in IMO a bad idea. To throw into the mix I have heard HSBC & city link have told their employees if Scotland leave the UK they will move the business down south purely for tax reasons, this could be hear say though.

If Scotland voted no we would be the only country in the world to reject independence (I think) also if we get it & then Barcelona what's stopping anyone else doing it in England/UK?

Frankyscouser. that would be the clever way to go about it. There seems like nothing to be gained from the violence but everything to be gained from peace.

Didn't salmond say on getting independence he would straight away sign up to the euro. Independence means less freedom not more. And socialism has failed in every country its been tried in, it doesn't work.

I would trust Allex Salmon 100%, he has done more to help the average Scot in the last few years (with his hands tied), than any unionist has. To Frankie who lied and said Alex is a high freemason, that is absolute rubbish. I have a family member who knows him very well and says he is anti-masonic. As for the Europe involvement that would be up to the people of Scotland to decide in an independent Scotland.

I would suggest resources play a large part. Everything else is window dressing.

As for funding Hamas, its certainly a possibility. The Israeli secret services are one of the best at what they do. Via proxies and shell corporations. Maybe the funding comes from further afield?

Frankie, I was born in Glasgow and lived here all my life, I left school just as thatcher came to power and watched her Tory gov destroy life's up here. I've voted labour all my days until Blair went to war and supported the snp into power at the last election. I'm praying for independence, not for Alex Salmond, but for the chance to vote in a real socialist Labour Party into power at the next election. Also if we do break away it will destroy Cameron's validity (who would want to be the prime minister who breaks up the uk) and maybe give our southern cousins a chance for change.

Salmond is certainly not to be trusted. I've said before, Brussels wants Britain split up to make it easier to take over piecemeal. Its divide and rule once again, some irony.

I have heard hamas could be israeli funded and I am starting to think that now, let me run scenario this by you all.

i am a genuine hamas leader and I know my token bombs are not going to do anything but send my country back in the stone age with generations of families wiped out, I suddenly find out that we have resources that can make us all self sufficient and build a infrastructure for my people, so I decide to go down the peace route and sign a treaty, then I contact a nation that can help me get the oil out and give them a cut of any profits, like say venezuela (asking russia could be the start of ww3)then once the oil/money is rolling in I will build a port and do my own export and import deals, letting nato know everything.

thats what I would do anyway, I do not agree with any type of violence hamas or israel as it only plays into the zionists hands.
