Richard D. Hall did an interesting piece on animal mutilations. I think Ed033 posted the link before. There was some mention of a guy who used to be part of a NATO backed team who were effectively on call 24/7 to investigate these events. You might find it in the richplanet archives.

I can see the logic of ETs doing this to explore the species etc. but what would the aims be for humans to do this?

So compared to jogging, walking burns more fat, hmm ok, any activity that burns fat will help keep you healthy as it will keep your bmi down, so in away "burning fat doesn't in its self make you healthier " is rubbish, you may be healthier even more if you do high intensity training as well as jogging but jogging will help keep you healthy in that it will help keep you at a healthy weight, imagine somebody over weeight saying they are only really intrested in jogging and your advice being safe exercise is a misnomer and won't make you healthier

Hey Jedi,

The eastern mediterranean is one of the most significant areas on this planet in the way it affects geopolitical interests.
The control of its vast resources, trade routes and strategic location has been fought over since ancient times.
Most of what we've come to identify as empires, both rose and fell according to their control of this area.

If the control of the eastern mediterranean was left to the nations and states that border it or was seized by an "opposing" interest e. g. Russia, the establishments reach would be limited and thus their interests would incur great damages.
Additionally, the number of foreign military bases in the surrounding area alludes to its continued occupation and to it serving as a permanent excursion outpost.

In regards to the militants and the latest war drum beating, a detached view will provide the most insights.
Militants require training and equipment, which costs.
The money must be coming from somewhere as donation trays wouldn't cover the expenses.
Furthermore, this sunni-shiite conflict mirrors the catholic-protestant conflict experienced in Ireland.

My conclusion would be that the establishment is encountering too many difficulties in controlling the general area and are thus attempting to further divide the surrounding nations and states.
This will in turn further destabilize the region and in all likelihood provide the establishment with the necessary public outcry to formalize the accession of these nations and states to the orderly union.

This is a complex situation involving that dreaded word religion, the top and tail of it bush and Blair have stirred a hornets nest in a tinderbox region and they sit back waiting for it to explode then come in like the Calvary preaching about democracy, bush and blair should be tried like Saddam Hussein for war crimes and whatever the punishment they should serve it to them.

This really has nothing to do with Israel. The likes of Syria and Iraq haven't been a military threat for decades. They beat them in every war after all. Israels long term concerns remain Iran for the obvious reason of potential nuclear threats and the terrorist groups operating that are largely funded by Iran. The behind the scenes thinking in Israel is that hopefully the long term picture is that its neighbours settle down and become more democratic and less hostile depriving the Palestinians of support. I know of one senior Israeli figure who has said that current events in Syria and Iraq are beneficial as the situation is sucking jihadist fighters in to those conflicts and away from Israel and Lebanon so certainly there is an element that doesn't mind what's going on. But I am also aware that there is an element that thinks this situation is bad as it just stirs up more unrest and radicalises more gullible persons.

If anyone is stirring things up its a certain group of companies who have interests in the area and wish to expedite the situation.

Very true Ryan these charities on events that happen like this and the McCain case are getting more and more suspicious, its like they are not satisfied with fooling the public and they want to rub it in and fleece the public as well.

Usually in my experience 90% of the time the standard story is correct. Sometimes people try and overcomplicate things.

Good find Franky, it's as good a summary of the Sandy Hook Hoax as I've seen. The fact that the Sandy Hook charities were set up the day before it allegedly happened is damning evidence to say the least.

Some woman once reported she saw giants under some secret catacombs. I can't remember too much about it, but it's an interesting subject.

On the language courses it was encouraged to read western literature so long as they contained no corrupting political philosophy. Also handy for working abroad from blending in from a cultural point of view. You never know what comes up in conversation. I'm a voracious reader myself.

That would explain him. knowing things. I'm not up on the whole freemason thing which is one of the things that drew me to this website.

He was a smart man and predicted nuclear power, rockets to the moon and submarines. He either knew something or had a good technical advisor who knew something. Maybe Journey to the Centre of the Earth isn't so far fetched after all. One of my favourite western writers along with Wells.
