always been interested in aliens, ufo's and that sort of thing, did a project on area 51 back in 1992 for school, a few years after lazar had come out so to speak. Xfiles, Tim Good, Hoagland, Art Bell and years later. the more you dig the more questions you have! love it.

For me it was David Icke, I had seen him on a TV programme, which incorrectly smeared him as stating he was the 'son of God', led to 9/11 in turn led to Illuminati but what really gripped me was Lloyd Pye's seminar, everything you know is wrong, this answered a few questions I had regarding strange happenings while I worked on a farm on Vancouver Island. Big shout out to this site though, while I don't participate much in discussions i'm always reading.

I studied jfk in a history lesson at school 25 years ago. After that x-files made my interest grow. Think there is a new film in the pipeline but I think some things that have been put in the series over the years were now a bit misleading.

im a muslim and I watched a series on youtube, not sure whether its still there or not, it was called the awakening. relating what was written in the quran to the world today. it gave me different views of the world.

if I remember correctly the video also talkd about illuminati, entertainment industry etc. it opened my eyes and I started watching and looking for other conspiracies etc.

Michael moores fahreheit 9/11 documentary started it. Funny as I had no clue of what documentaries were at the time. Still find it strange it was released in india around october 2004.

I was about 11 when Oliver stones JFK came out and I've been gripped since ( I'm 35 now) and then the x files came out and I've been hooked on conspiracies since then.
The greatest story never told was a real eye opener would recommend to anyone.

Dylan Avery and Michael Moores documentarys on 911 opened my eyes on it, bit dated now seeing as there's been a lot out since then but in 2003-4 that was all we had to go on.

Exactly the same as you mate;
Found the site from the footy site
Have always had a cynical mind especially about 9/11 but I thought the poster's here were crazy initially
Then I did some research and now I think everyone else is crazy!

That Hitler documentary is excellent, opened my mind a lot.

just to add my sister who is slim and very active drinks a hell of sweet drinks and gets depressed and also worries a lot about anything , I think these type of drinks keep her wired and overthinking everything ,similar to drugs like speed and cocaine (a legal high )

First off, thank you to anyone who took the time to read, furthermore, thanks to every poster who replied, can't explain how thankful I am

Firstly to Melbourne, I play football 3 times a week, club , representative and next year, I hope to do state as well, let's hope :) surprisingly, whenever at football, I have zero anxiety, do not shake at all :)

I also work at a pizza store 3 nights a week. when I first started it was awful. i'd sit on the couch for about an hour before I was going to leave because I was that scared. haha, I'm fine now and it's much better and I love the people there!

I do OP at school and next year in my last year of school I'm doing a diploma of business, so I'm going to be destroyed, lol.

I do lots of things, so don't think that's the problem, I don't go out much unless it's a party though.

My diet is pretty awful. And after reading something further down the page , after my holiday I'm deciding to give up on sugar. I'm addicted and I've drunken 26 cans of soft drink in a week and a half.

I do sometimes do meditation in my room (once) and it wasn't too bad but I got too restless and have given it up lol.

I would do marijauna, but I'm pretty worried about even asking someone to do it with me.

I feel selfish as well, that's mostly my problem, I'm one of the more popular ones at school and I have a wonderful family, my life on a platter etc. One thing that is satisfying is I have earned $14,000 only on my own at work in this year alone, which is great. I'm thinking of working in the share market to get more :) (any links where I could learn more about it?)

Again, thank you to everyone! Appreciate it all! Much love. Sorry for babbling on about my life story lol.

I will take everything into consideration. Thanks again.

Without a doubt Ed, and I think it comes down to escaping the noise. I genuinely believe that is the answer to a lot of the troubles that people experience. For Mike, he had a thousand people in his ear all the time telling him what to do, what to say and where to sign on the dotted line. Much the same as we as individuals deal with in every day life, on a smaller scale. Whether its society telling you to buy this, or your folks telling you to study this, or the media and Government telling you x is right and y is wrong.

Once you're able to escape the noise and sit with yourself, clarity becomes a lot easier to achieve. Let yourself feel what's right for you, and what seems ok and what doesn't. For instance I don't own a TV. I'm financially secure, so that certainly isn't the issue, but I found over time I would get angry at Ads, or shows (like Hazard said with the Kardashians etc.) that I could see through the bullshit of. Rather then continue that battle, I chose to disconnect. And I've never been clearer in body and mind.

We don't need all these material objects to be happy. And unless you find happiness within, it will always be a constant battle through life for you trying to obtain happiness through external sources.

hazard, I believe melbourne has got got it right I would follow his advice other than the drugs. I know a lot of posters agree. a joint is good but from personal experience and people I know, nothing good comes from drugs.

Eat healthy, exersise and cut back on table salt and sugar that's what I did and feel much better for it. don't just do it for a few days make it a lifestyle and you will get the benefits.

all the best.

I'd watch this viedo if you have time as well mate. Only 14 mins long, but might re enforce that your beliefs aren't stupid, and possibly give you hope that people are with you on this journey through life.

Mike Tyson (a bloke I generally wouldn't suggest quoting) wrote in his book about his struggle with depression - Brightest lights, darkest shadows. Something that has always resonated with me.

hazzard, I would take Melbourne and Herbie's advice on this mate , at 16 I was chasing girls, playing football etc.
was always aware something was not right but living my life came first and to be honest at that age, I don't think my my brain would be able to process what I know now.

you are not alone feller.

Mate your post has struck a chord with me and others I'm sure. I'm 30 now but still share many of the feelings you describe, which is why I have to take a step back sometimes and concentrate on positive things.

Theres some great advice above - try to find like minded people like on this site, exercise and diet really does help.

Agree with Herbie, its best to take weed from a positive place rather than as an escape, try to work on the other things first then maybe weed will still appeal to you in the future when you're in a stronger position.

Try not to despair and don't feel alone because you are far from it.

Hazard
Try not to overthink about all the bad things in life, your young, you need to enjoy your youth not let your youth be eaten away, thses are the best years of your life, enjoy then and have fun.
Weed should be a personel choice so please don't let circumstance dictate weather you want it or not, that's just been defeatist.
Dude stick to this page. we all wear tin foil hats in here and believe me, it helps your sanity talking with like minded people.
Stay cool.
