Ok going back a bit now but I've been doing some reading up on Franklin D Roosevelt.
Amazing guy really, it was FDR that put in place the system of checks and balances in place to stop the American banks from going out of control. A system of regulation that has been slowly and systematically dismantled by every president since Reagan. That's 5 presidents from both parties have been eroded these checks and balances. And look at what the result was.
But my point today is that I have come to believe that he didn't die in 1945 of natural causes. Yes he was not a well man, he had some big health issues due to his battle against polio and the war took a strain certainly. But what better way to cover a murder than by killing someone with health issues and blaming natural causes?
I was reading an account by Fletcher Prouty of an interview conducted with Stalin in 1946 by FDR's son Elliott in which Stalin is adamant that FDR was poisoned and it was down to Churchill, link below. However I'm not sure of Churchill having sufficient motive and Stalin was a known paranoiac.

I've also read other things how it was a Nazi op, but this strikes me as unlikely as by Spring '45 the senior Nazi's with any sense like Bormann were already putting their escape plans into action.
But my own personal theory, and I admit I have no evidence of this, is that it was down to a certain group of American families, with pro Nazi leanings, our old friends family Bush with help from Morgan, Rockefeller etc etc.
Firstly it was the likes of Morgan and the other banking families that were restricted by FDR's financial regulations. It was these families that have pressured presidents into removing those regulations. It was also these families that sponsored Hitler's rise to power.
Secondly they had already come up with one plot to remove FDR and install a dictatorship in America. This is the Business Plot of 1933. We have the testimonial of Major General Smedley Butler, USMC ret. In 1934, Butler testified to the United States House of Representatives Special Committee on Un-American Activities on these claims. In the opinion of the committee, these allegations were credible. No one was prosecuted. Unsurprisingly.
Whether or not this was a serious plot or not I believe that it brought together a group of individuals, with a similar political outlook, a combined wealth running into billions, and tentacles into the US banking, media and political institutions.
Maybe removing FDR and bringing in Truman advanced their goals, maybe it was just petty act of revenge for being thwarted previously by FDR, maybe it was a test run to see what they could get away with and who they would in a cover up. Certainly since then this group has grown now controlling the banking industry and mass media. They killed the Kennedy's, put Nixon, Reagan and both Bush's in power. They got the banking regulations removed, got into war in the middle east on several occasions (and are heading there again)
I could be wrong, it could just have been natural causes. But something just seems of to me.

Interesting post mort and I watched something in a documentary a few months ago about fdr and your post has stirred up something in my memory, it explained he was a very ill man who if I can remember rightly had a heart attack but was back in the whitehouse 7 weeks later and something on the lines he would not see threw the plans he had (wish I could remember what it was called)it was almost like a cryptic clue, top post mort.

Very interesting. I remember just after the Reagan assassination attempt a few of us were sitting around with a fresh bottle of vodka, pretty amazed that people in the west actually tried to kill unpopular leaders. Something that we wouldn't even say as a joke. Anyway the conversation naturally turned to Kennedy and we worked our through the bottle and onto a second discussing Kennedy. Towards the last third of the second bottle this old timer, starts talking about Roosevelt, about how when news reached the soviet embassy it was flashed to the Kremlin as highest priority traffic. Despite the time difference Stalin was still around and immediately ordered the soviet ambassador (at this time Gromyko, later to be soviet ambassador to the UN amongst other things) to go to Georgia to view the body and confirm cause of death. This old guy said that three times Gromyko tried to gain access for a viewing and was rebuffed each time. Apparently if he had died the way he was supposed to there would be visible signs and this is what Stalin was interested in. The old timer concluded that Gromyko and Stalin suspected foul play but had no proof.
