7/7 was allowed to happen, I think we get side tracked on nations behind the event, for all we know the Kabul could hire mercenaries from all over the globe to carry out the attack.

Eds I hope it's ok to post this quote, but I think a lot of people still don't know that a drill was being run on 7/7 that exactly simulated the real events. Just like 9/11.

BBC INTERVIEW WITH PETER POWER ON THE AFTERNOON OF July 7th 2005

PETER POWER: At half past nine this morning we were actually running an exercise for a company of over a thousand people in London based on simultaneous bombs going off precisely at the railway stations where it happened this morning, so I still have the hairs on the back of my neck standing up right now.

HOST: To get this quite straight, you were running an exercise to see how you would cope with this and it happened while you were running the exercise?

POWER: Precisely, and it was about half past nine this morning, we planned this for a company and for obvious reasons I don’t want to reveal their name but they’re listening and they’ll know it. And we had a room full of crisis managers for the first time they’d met and so within five minutes we made a pretty rapid decision that this is the real one and so we went through the correct drills of activating crisis management procedures to jump from slow time to quick time thinking and so on.

If the above interview doesn't worry you enough, Benjamin Netanyahu said he was told to stay in his hotel by Scotland Yard on the morning of 7/7 before the first explosion. Of course they later denied it.

Agreed Ryan. So many things to consider, including:
1. Evidence that only 2 people travelled south from Leeds, rather than the 3 reported
2. Explosives seemed to be under the carriages, shown by the nature of the holes and most of the injuries being to lower bodies
3. Very dubious eye witness evidence of the supposed bombers, in some cases nobody saw them
4. Location of supposed bombers on carriages did not match up to the direction and extent of explosions/injuries
5. Eye witness testimony of people matching the same description being shot in canary wharf later that day
6. Official story stated that the initial train they got on was 7. 30 (from memory) when it was found that that train was cancelled on the day

And so on

Franky, are you implying that the 4 people were true terrorists who planned the event as stated?

Yes 7/7 was carried out by government agents. British & Israeli.

I read somewhere recently that the Tube CCTV system was not working that day.

Still leaves the bus bomb as being difficult to explain, but there is so much that stinks about the tube bombs.

So, having just watched the Horizon episode 'what happened to flight MH370?' I have a question. Where the hell is it?

I've read a few posts from April on here but nothing in the last couple months. It seems to have gone a little quiet. How are people feeling about this? Has anything new come to light? There are a lot of questions and the few answers we are supposed to believe don't make sense or contradict previous comments. Are we just supposed to forget about it until, miraculously, 5 years down the line they find it in a hangar, living the life of Riley right under our noses - but we're not allowed to see it! Oh no! They've given it a proper send off and burnt it in accordance with its religious beliefs! so we'll just have to take their word and with a few grainy photos as proof!!. oops, sorry, I got a little sidetracked there:) must of stirred up some old emotions about another story we've fed!

All I know is there was an agenda of confusion to keep people in the dark, the media coverage was laughable. I think the plane was taken somewhere for some reason, I don't think it went missing or crashed.

Hi all. Just got back from holiday and reading through all he posts I missed.

With regards to the post about exercise and the heart, there has been a lot of research into various levels of exercise and their effect on the cardiovascular system.

As Ed001 mentioned, light jogging has no real effect.

But the heart is an incredibly dynamic organ and is subject to structural remodelling in certain circumstances. Elite level athletes will often have larger hearts. The 4 chambers dilate to increase stroke volume, and the muscle becomes thicker due to frequent high intensity training.

Obviously this is a normal variant in an athlete.

But unfortunately there are some disease states which also dilate the cardiac chambers and hypertrophies the muscle - and differentiating disease from normal in an elite athlete can be extremely difficult, often impossible.

I know of one premiership rugby player who retired because of this, but apparently it's happened in other sports.

There was also a paper in the European Heart Journal last year that titled "Exercise Induced Right Ventricular Dysfunction and Structural Remodelling in Endurance Athletes"

It's sometimes necessary to implant a defibrillator in these people as they're at risk of fatal arrhythmias.

I have to stress that this is only usually seen in very high level athletes with a lot of training behind them.

Rik Mayall probably had undiagnosed coronary heart disease and simply had a heart attack. He was mid 50's and unfortunately it happens all the time.

RIP Rik

Regards to the discussion about running shoes, has anyone read Born to Run by Christopher McDougall?
It's a fascinating book which talks about human evolution and how we've evolved over thousands of years to run on the balls of our feet, but in recent years have been of cushioning our feet with sandals, shoes etc. which has conditioned us to run on our heels which is mechanically just wrong.

Probably doesn't sound very interesting but I do recommend it if you're interested in that sort of thing.

Sorry for the long post, but it's actually something I know a little about (for a change) so thought I'd share!

Nice 1 joe interesting, I think I seen a tv science show last year were they tested a tribe member (cant remember which tribe) and a top usa college runner , the tribe runner who was barefoot ran longer and had less impact on his body than the american runner with state of the art trainers.

A really interesting run down of (what I am sure are the more mainstream) conspiracy theories; some of which we have discussed recently; i. e fluoride in water and vaccinations but also a fair few that were new to me (although not new I am sure to others). Makes interesting reading.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/picturegalleries/howaboutthat/3477148/The-greatest-conspiracy-theories-in-history.html

frankyscouser
Quite surprised a mainstream paper acknowledging that people like us believe some of these conspiracy theories, there are two that are new to me.
1 The 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami might have been caused by the USA and Israel

2 harold Wilson could have been a KGB spy.

For what its worth on Wilson, I don't think its true. Bearing in mind he resigned in 1976 and I was being measured for my uniform at the time it was way above my pay grade so this is only my opinion as I have no proof either way.

But I think the Wilson was a kgb agent is bogus. For start there's nothing he did policy wise that could be considered as Moscow directed. Whilst in his younger days he was on the left of the labour party (which would make him agent potential) by the time he became an mp in 1945 his politics had moved to the centre left. He won the 1963 labour party leadership contest caused by the untimely death of Hugh Gaitskell on a uniting the party ticket after Jim Callaghan and George Brown split the centre right vote. A year later he won the general election. Whilst at the time a lot of the labour party supported unilateral disarmament, which certainly suited Moscow, Wilson never considered it.

Personally I think he was the victim of a smear campaign by mi5 to weaken him by implicating him as a soviet agent. Bear in mind the legacy of the Cambridge 5 and the suspicion that there were other highly placed spies.

There were of course other such spies, including in government circles, but a British prime minister? We could only wish. On a separate note I do for fact know there were sources of information inside the government as I met one at an ashes game at lords.

I have also seen the rumour that both Jim Callaghan and Tony Blair were cia assets.

Bush was a psychotic warmonger, once they found out there was no WMD he had to go, he served his purpose, good cop bad cop routine with obama and bush.
{Ed001's Note - didn't he run out of terms of office? I thought that was why he went, rather than anyone getting rid of him. Anyway, he seems happy painting pictures a 5 year old would be disappointed to produce.....}

The Pentagon and Shanksville incidents share common ground. There is no evidence whatsoever of AA77 and UA93 crashing at either location.

For those that haven't looked up the tail numbers of all four aircraft on the FAA register; you should! It'll whet your appetite.
Look up the "N" numbers. note the dates and status of those aircraft.

I have not been able to reconcile these differences within my own mind and I have not seen or heard any compelling explanation via media outlets that could put my thoughts to bed.

Why wouldn't you use the hologram of a comercial jet? it was dark with no logo or windows? that's what i'm having trouble with, but at the same time it does seem to melt into the building
Agree · 2 · Disagree · 0

I don't need to hear about holograms and other high-tech/fantasy explanations.

In one case, the pilot wasn't able to able to fly a Cessna safely. And yet an impossible high speed (above the plane's design threshold) circular descent into a building armed with anti-aircraft missiles is carried out by an inexperienced pilot who manages to hit the least precious part of the building in a manner which causes the least damage.

If you want to talk to people down the pub about 9/11, don't mention holograms, their eyes will glaze over. You don't need to; the Commission Report doesn't stack up using simple logic.

david smith was a name I was not familiar with. he was jimmy saville's driver and he was also a well known pedophile in his own right. while everyone was drawn to saville's exploits, his driver was arrested and up in court after operation yewtree investigations.

on the day of his trial he does not turn up. police turn up at his flat and find him dead. it was reported on the mainstream news but I missed it. I believe it was a snippet news mention about his death but this guy was the last remaining link to saville and his very high profile pedo ring.

this guy decides to kill himself on the day of the trial. there are people who are suggesting the secret service murdered him because he could have named the very top of the establishment and brought the uk to its knees, which I agree with.

if we can think back to when all this saville news broke, the real news should have been, we have got the driver who can name names but that was overshadowed by a dead celebrity who cannot talk. I find this interesting.

Franky there are two possibilities:

Firstly, he could not live with the guilt and shame of his crimes and feared public revelations so killed himself.

Secondly, having been the driver, and presumably even involved in alleged proceedings, (after all why not give the help a "reward" and gain blackmail information along the way) the driver would know most if not all the names involved. This person is too dangerous to be allowed to reach a public trial.

or he was bumped of in a bid to hide evidence as I'm sure he knew more than Jimmy was up to his eyes in it. eg Dr David Kelly. Maybe he should have padlocked himself in a holdall in the bath and it would has been just another normal suicide.
Agree · 1 · Disagree · 0

Exactly kim, I thought about the guilt theory and my research about pedophiles on the whole they have no empathy for there victims and this feller had 18 known convictions for child abuse plus why leave it till the day of the trial?

this guy could not be trusted to keep his mouth shut about the powerful satanic pedo ring in this country , can you imagine if david smith was in the dock and testifying that our former prime minister ted heath had boys supplied by saville and after he raped them he cut there throats?add a few royals who indulge and the establishment would be on there knees and there is no chance they could take the risk, even if they guy was never going to spill the beans they would still kill him

another thing I can not find out how he actually killed himself, either way something is brewing and I can see very very important people getting named not just your odd z list celeb.

Yes H I have read about the dutch girl claims and also the missing children when the queen and prince Phillip visited the school run by priests, it will be seem totally unthinkable that royalty still sacrifice children but they have done it since they have been in power, now they are just hiding the fact they do it, as you may have noticed I have a hatred and disgust towards them for many reasons, I will go further and suggest that the police could search the grounds of the monarchies private estates you would find mass graves.

i think the poll question answer is carried out by both humans and ETs, I think it was the late 60s early 70s that a spate of animal mutilations happened and its rumored we have been in contact with aliens since the 50s, so I see this as a learning lesson a bit like a apprentice observing a surgeon in the theater.

I can see the logic of ETs doing this to explore the species etc. but what would the aims be for humans to do this?

Richard D. Hall did an interesting piece on animal mutilations. I think Ed033 posted the link before. There was some mention of a guy who used to be part of a NATO backed team who were effectively on call 24/7 to investigate these events. You might find it in the richplanet archives.

Does anyone else think there's something fishy about the Michael Schumacher story? Comes out of a coma after 6 months and is then somehow well enough to go home? Also, the media went vey quiet on it a week or two after it happened. Doesn't sound right to me.

I think if and when we do see Schumacher in public again he will look visibly different. Absolutely no one could be the same from being in a coma as long as he has and he may well still have a short life span. Wasn't Rik mayall in a coma for 5 days which is still quite a long time which wouldn't have helped his health?
