Anyone see anything strange over Birmingham last night? about 12ish?

My friends who moved there said there was a bright light just hovering over the city, no noise like a helicopter or anything like that.

The strange part is, he said it just flew off super quick after about a min or so.

Was really bored looked through my TiVo & decided to stick on Signs not seen it in years. Something I've not saw mentioned on here often. Crop Circles all fake & done by hand? Or some Real & done by a UFO or other worldly being?

Like most ufo sightings 99% fake 1% real.

So you really think something's came to this planet & made real ones Franky? The complex designs in some of them are amazing. Either way whether humans make them or aliens there bloody impressive lol. That film would be really good if The aliens weakness wasn't water they're whole invasion could have been foiled by a shower of rain. They'd never last a minute in Britain ha!

{Ed007's Note - I'll second that, and I've spent some time in Dublin and Manchester. In Glasgow it's summer if it's not freezing cold and raining, winter is when it is freezing cold and raining.}

If you can get a copy, and I understand it might be hard, I'm not even sure if its available in English so apologies if its a wild duck chase, but the best book on Dyatlov Pass is The Mystery of Dyatlov Pass by Anna Matveyeva. Its a novella based on the film of the same name. Its a fictional narrative but has the largest amount of document sources ever released all in the one book.

its a tough one this with JFK and MM, normally I would say no smoke without fire but would it be not easier to discredit JFK with the MM story than assassinate him a few years down the line?maybe Monroe was sleeping with a few powerful people and she could not be trusted, so do I think JFK had anything to do with her murder then my answer is no.

a interesting story I found after watching Jesse ventura interviews was at the time he was thinking of running as a independent a navy seal sniper hero with 200 kills Chris Kyle who claimed he punched ventura because he was bad mouthing the seals team and america and was glad that some of the guys died, this sort of coincides with the talk poll of the day about faked news, well this made the news everywhere and ventura and the bar were it happened denied anything took place, well then sometime later kyle was at a shooting range and got murdered by another army vet who claimed he had ptsd.

deffo effort to discredit JV and unsure why this feller got murdered but it can't be a coincidence can it?

It seems he also claimed to have shot dead two carjackers at a service station in 2009, but there is no record of the event.

I didn't realise Craft International (Boston Bombing) was his company.

I read on a blog somewhere that he was 'Seal Team Sixed', clearly a reference to the navy seals from the alleged killing of OBL who mysteriously died in that helicopter accident.

If you hear any more about this I'd be interested Franky.

Just a note to Jay.

Mate, hating religion is no better then being a fundamentalist or extremist. Sure a lot of things, bad things like war, pedophile priest, suicide bombers etc can be attributed to religion, but it is not the rule. Without religious beliefs we wouldn't have people like Gandhi, MLK etc.

It comes down to the person and how they put the written words into actions. Like everything there is sick power hungry people in these organisations but there are also people who have struggled through life only to find religion which has helped them gain perspective and a willingness to do good. By hating religion so passionately you are an extremist, just on the opposite spectrum.

I myself don't believe in any religion, but do believe in a higher power. There is zero proof of this higher power existing, yet I still believe.

If you want people to take notice of what your viewpoint is, you have to take notice of, and respect theirs.

I see that you are choosing only certain posts of mine to be put up ed. Why is this?
Why do you want it to look like you're having the final say without actually debating your case? You're trying to make it look like I have nothing to say in return. Obvious to anyone.

Ps! Was it the Moses part the you didn't like? I wouldn't either if I worshipped a book with such barbarism portrayed as ok because the god said it was!

{Ed007's Note - I thought I had answered that:

The reason you're replies aren't going up is simply because you are posting in multiple replies all saying the same thing.

The Israelites were God's judgement on the Canaanites for over 400 years of idoltry and sinful practices, such as human sacrifice, etc. In fact, the Israelites left Egypt when they did because it was part of God's prophecy to end the Canaanites time of grace. Their "iniquity was not yet full." Genesis 15:16. One of the reasons the Israelites had such strict laws was to keep them from falling into the sinful practices of the Canaanites.

It goes to show that God is not a kindly old man winking at sin. When He says He will bring punishment for sin, he means it. Fortunately, he offers free forgiveness and mercy in Christ, but if people are too stubborn to take it, then they get the wrath of God their sins bring. The moral of the story is, don't waste that time of grace.

In the Book of Exodus 20:4-6 as part of the Commandments it clearly states:

You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.

Yes, the same thing because it always gets ignored ed.

So because god said he didn't like what the Canaanites were doing, it was ok to have them all slain? Really?

And why does this god feel he has the authority over the humans who were here thousands of years before any murmur of any god?

Peace

Sorry to jump in, a little of topic but still god related.

If god is this almighty creator why can't he just create a perfect world?

Also, if natural disasters are a wrath of god, why is he punishing uninhabited planets?

I was actually saying it about everyone, one can believe in something so that is their belief and 'opinion' and whatever that is should not be mocked in anyway, if you don't believe in someone else's beliefs why are they wrong for believeing/ having a faith or belief in something is a strong feeling no one can take from you no matter how much you try and put your opinion accross, ED is a RC not by force but by choice, I was born and raised RC and know the bible pretty well along with all the stories in OLD and NEW testaments but in the modern world my beliefs have strayed me more to 'tampered evolution'. I am very much open minded and respect all religions and opinions of others no matter how far fetched.

Sorry ed, but no!

Don't categorize me as the same as the daftys who support the the Ira or uvf or any of that moronic behaviour between the old firm!
To argue over religion the way they do is shambolic, and embarrassing! Especially as their belief comes from the same book, persons! Lol

I'm not forcing my views on anyone, I'm expressing my views!
Are you suggesting that there are no acts of evil in the bible by the god that's in there?
Think what you will of me, but it's obv my views unsettle your belief, which they shouldn't because they are only my personal opinions.
I share your anguish over what happens to loved ones who have passed and sympathise with you. , so stop thinking I'm out to attack you personally!

Peace

Jay

{Ed007's Note - You don't have the intelligence to unsettle me or my beliefs. I choose to live my life respecting others views and opinions. Perhaps if you opened your mind and heart to the same you might actually experience some of the 'peace' you like to sign off with, either that or get laid, you have so much pent up anger and frustration there has to be some inner turmoil in your life.

Have you ever thought of talking it over with your priest?}
Not Registered
I personally think religion is a con and a way to keep people like sheeps.

It's also a good way to start wars.

But, i'm not going to tell people what they should or shouldn't believe in or how to live their lives.

If you're happy with your life and don't hurt or tell anyone else how to live then what's the harm in it?

but when it comes to the bible and morals. you shouldn't need a book tell you how to treat other people or have Hell as an intimidation to be good during your life.
