I'm sorry, but that is just untrue. You clearly didn't read my reply. I thought we were allowed to express out opinions freely in here? Why censor certain viewpoints?
If you'd read my reply, you'd see that I mention that I understand religion can be good for people, that I simply don't see the need for it!
Really shocked at what this site has become!

Ps! By reading most replies, seems everyone tends to direct a post anyway, especially to the eds, so even if my reply was directed at ed, which it wasn't, why am I the only person who's not allowed to reply? Why are my opinions being censored!
{Ed001's Note - no I haven't read it, as it seemed to be directed at Ed007, so I just held it for him. It is still sat there waiting, so please grow up and stop whining like a small child who thinks everything is a dig at them. I am sure Ed007 will read it and choose for himself whether to reply or not later, when he gets back from church. Oh and I can see it at the top of my page now, locked up for him, but I can happily quote a few pieces to you such as: How anyone would want to actively want to worship one of the evil, sadistic gods of the holy books, is really beyond me. The sad thing is, most don't know about the darker parts of their holy books. As a lot of believers haven't even read the bible, sounds crazy, but it's true.
Now please just give it time, I am sure he will be back soon (if he is not already back and dealing with it as I am typing this!).}

Fair enough. It's just that I posted ages ago, and other posts are getting seen while mine isn't. So I apologise if it seems I'm being a tad funny about my reply, I just think it's only fair everyone's opinions get seen/aired!
Just so you know, ed said he isn't the typical bible bashing type anyway, and I'm sure it's not a religious god he/she believes in. Which to me makes more sense. That the holy book type gods.
Look ed, I feel the same about all religions, and I'm sure the Ed knows I'm not directing everything at him/her, but at religion as the one whole entity.
Again though, why does my opinion irk you so much? Or anyone else? It is after all only an opinion. An opinion I would change should the right evidence present itself!

{Ed001's Note - sorry mate, sometimes it does take a while. I apologise for assuming it was directed at Ed007. I just saw Ed at the start and took a look at previous posts and saw he had replied to you. I made the assumption you were then replying back to him. I only really check on here early in the morning, unless there is a post waiting for me, as I am in a different time zone now, so up before most of the other eds. Anything coming through late at night UK time, is unlikely to find either myself or Ed033 about to check it, as Ed033 is in the same time zone as myself. Normally one of the other eds will pick up posts late at night, but only if there are a few waiting usually. Otherwise there are too many other posts on the footie sites for them to even notice one or two waiting on here.}

No worries ed. I can understand why you'd have thought that with previous posts. So no hard feelings. Just so you know, I sympathise with the ed about what he thinks about his father who has passed. I wouldn't want to knock someone about that type of thing. I lost my brother last year, and although the concept of heaven/afterlife seems a nice one for some people, I'm happy knowing that my brother lived his life, and the stuff they made him will eventually be spewed back out into the universe, back out towards where it came from.
I don't know about the afterlife, as no one can know for sure, but of course, it would be great to think that our loved ones are somewhere.

You said, you weren't a typical bible basher, your own words ed. So I assumed you never went to chapel! So I'm sorry I took that the wrong way!
I'm rc too, or at least I was.
Look ed, I honestly am not directing my opinion at you, but at religion as a whole, because it's all there for everyone to see that's what religion is, the same story, with minute changes!

And I honestly mean no offence to you personally either. All I'm doing is expressing my opinion. Which is what this site is about.
If your religion makes you happy, then that's great, my opinion should hear no meaning to your personal beliefs.
I won't bother replying to your comment about what you think of me personally, everyone can't et on with everyone all the time!

Ah Franky. I cannot discuss specifics. Yes various ufo related incidents were covered up, what government admits to the unexplained or powers with high tech.

There were standing orders that any odd incidents were to be written up and submitted to the blue folder. It seems that this was taken very seriously very high up. After the collapse a lot of files were released before the lid was put back on.

double standards from frankyscouse, gods a fraud due to lack of proof but aleins walk amongst us even with lack of proof.
sweeping generalisations from jay all religions are untrue.

way to keep an open mind!

as I see it :

disagreement is good, to see opposite sides of a coin helps to educate, but to ridicule is unintellegnt.
you may need more research into the ancient civilizations, they understood a lot more than what modern textbooks say. Graeme Hancock has done some good work, his lectures on consciousness and cave art are thought provoking.

They did, they knew a lot about the solar system. but how did they know this and why is there 10 planets in their drawings?

Also, the "they're out in force" was meant in jest, I was just thinking before I put that, that we don't see many people on here "calling others out" but two turn up in 1 day.
It reminded me of the buses where none come for ages then two arrive at once. I didn't mean offence by it.

My replies haven't been getting posted in the last few days, so I'll take care to be careful with what I'm saying, as to avoid causing offence.

Stevie Thai

The religions/faiths I'm familiar with are, Christianity, Judiasm, The Mormon Faith, and Islam. Albeit more personally with Christianity. I know of more, such as Buddhism, Hinduism and all the others most have heard of. So there's your answer.
Thing is, all these religions, and every other one that's out there, are based on older/ancient beliefs. Anyone who can read, can see themselves by reading religious texts, and texts of the ancients, that religious groups have "borrowed" their main tales from the ancients. The epic of Gilgamesh itself is quite the read, and becomes ever so familiar when you've heard the exact same story in a church/synagogue/mosque etc. So in short, religion can say what it likes, but they are all one in the same, lies. Mark Twain once said " religion started when the first co man met the first fool" You'll have noticed I've not mentioned the whole Mormon concept. Reason being, it's complete silliness. If you've read or know of Joseph Smith, you'll know what I'm on about.

Listen Stevie, these are just my personal opinions, if you feel so strongly about your belief, my opinion shouldn't irk you the way it seems to do. Your opinion won't, and doesn't concern me, as it won't change my train of thought. Although I really do hope you reply and we can continue this discussion further.

Franky was merely stating what he personally feels on the subject of god, that's up to him, like it's up to you which you chose to believe or disbelieve. So why are you so wound up with someone's opinion?

Peace

Jay
Glasgow
{Ed007's Note - I'm a practising RC Jay, and the way I look at it is that if people choose not to follow a religion then that's their choice, just as it is my choice to keep following mine. Believe me, I am very, VERY far from your typical bible-bashing, ram religion down others throats type of guy but there are certain times of my life my religion has helped me more than harm me, that doesn't mean I am right about it or telling you you're wrong mate.
All religion is a faith and I have my faith, when I die and find out if it's all a crock of 5h!t or not who have I harmed in the process?
If I am right or if I am wrong I really haven't lost anything by living my life (eventually) in the right way of respecting others views and opinions, helping others through problems just as I once needed someone else's help, learning to love and respect my parents and others etc etc.
In my opinion the breakdown of religious values has to shoulder some of the blame for societies ills, religion whether right or wrong has surely helped keep the world going so long? People are too quick to blame religion for so many wars but forget the good parts of it, teaching Joe Dirt right from wrong, is stealing or killing right because the Bible says it's wrong? How else would simple people understand these things if it wasn't taught in churches etc hundreds of years ago when there was no schools to educate the poor. Just as is it caused so many problems surely it has helped many, many more. Whether that is blind faith who are we to really judge?
I'm not saying that religion is the answer to everything but surely when you are on a site like this you must keep an open mind to other's beliefs and show them respect, exactly the same way you want your own opinions and beliefs to respected.
Only a few years ago I lost my father to cancer, it is one of the worst times of my life (and there has been a few of them to compete) but towards the end, night after night the close family gathered in the room at my mam's where he was and prayed, not that he would get better that wasn't going to happen, but to pray that when the end came he would be pain free and in a better place.
Now I don't know if my dad is in better place Jay, but I would like to think he is and I hope (and pray) when it's my time he will be there waiting on me, nothing that gets said on sites like this is going to change people's beliefs or faith mate.
I personally believe that without religion and it's teachings over the years the world would actually be a far worse place than it is. Most people are dumb, they need someone to keep them on the straight and narrow, without that there would be anarchy, and what would happen then? The exact same thing, personal greed would eventually take over but false deities would be worshipped, look at North Korea and places like that as an example of having no religion. Would you rather live there, Jay?}

Just finished researching 9/11 and there is no evidence that a controlled demolition was used on building 7, as you can see on the south face of te building, it was heavily engulfed in smoke, and that's fire, which burned ragingly, also debri from north tower crashing into building 7! I just don't see the evidence of anything conspiring. The two towers could not have been demolished

Shaun

Just my opinion guys, it seems to me conspiracists can't face the facts, on your Judy wood book she states that the Chinese had a deal in place for the steel remaining. They WOULD NOT have a deal in place, as quite franky china are seen as enemies more than freinds. And it makes sense, a plane taking a chunk out of the building and the jet fuel burning at 800 * Celsius, which is highly known that steel weakens at that level. Also, you say the buildings fell straight, your wrong, in the footage you can see the building falling over one side at a start, it was flopping! The extreme heat brought them towers down.

Did you know that 90 % of the building was air? And the remaining was steel and concrete. Think about that

Shaun

{Ed001's Note - you do realise that this so-called enemy, China, owns the factories that provides the US forces with depleted uranium munitions right? Hardly a sign of a country that would not be able to do a deal. Seems to me you are too blind to understand what a fact is. Your jet fuel nonsense is still nonsense, you have just gone from false claims about it melting steel to nonsense about it being 'highly known' that steel weakens at that level. You clearly are talking complete claptrap. That just means nothing. What level? What do you mean by weakens? What is 'highly known' meant to mean? And what on earth is that nonsense about 90% of the building being air all about? You just talk gibberish! None of what you are saying has any intelligence behind it. It is just the ravings of someone who has swallowed the TV news reports wholesale and never questioned whether or not anything was really true.}

Thanks for your research Shaun. Glad I now know the building was 90% air. Imagine if they had built it with no air? People would struggle to get in the building. And I hope your not labeling me a conspiracist just because I visit and post on this page? I'm just interested in finding out information, widespread opinion and ultimately the truth. I will even take your research that you've posted above and have a think about it. Is your research complete now Shaun? Where have you got your research from? Is that all your research above or are you going to submit the document?

Hi Ed, thought I'd bring subject to the top again as I want people to realise what type of company they are:
I think I should add my bit as I was part of Subway for 8 years hence my name. Someone I know (not a muslim) converted an average performing subway store to a Halal store a couple of years ago in not particularly a heavy muslim area. I'm not sure if it did much better but he did have to have the entire shop cleaned immaculately (and I'm not talking about a wipe round) then it had to be blessed to even be considered to qualify as a halal store. Subway will do anything directed by the American office to increase revenue (not profit) as it makes its money regardless from franchisees royalties wether they are making money or not, (nearly every subway store in the world is franchisee owned opposed to other companies, which is not great for franchisee's).
They are a typical pyramid and I have seen friends lose nearly everything if not everything surrounding vat and the "pasty tax" (which was introduced because of subway) because of their negligence and disregard for franchisee's. What has escaped the media is that Subway operate a similar tax avoidance scheme to starbucks and whoever else was in the news a couple of years ago through paying royalties to Holland then to Lichtenstein onto curucao ( dutch Caribbean I think) then I think onto America. Still don't know how it's remained the same. There is a lot more I can tell about withdrawn meats and products but I'm angry now and will carry on another time. Awful company.

Supasub

sidneythecat
Wow Supasub I would love to know more I my self am a cook/chef if you please. live near a subway also have had to cook halal chicken for certain individuals based on trust. ie I catered for certain functions where strict muslism's were present and had to adhere to their strict beliefs. The hotel I worked for was owned by muslims. I am a UK white non racist resident also have a 5 grade rating for cleanliness, so.

{Ed033's Note - When David Wilcock first came to be quite well known through project camelot, he appeared to be a good researcher/had a good researcher working for him.

However when he started saying his 'new age' stuff that if as a person we were 50% or more good, then we would evolve into the 4th dimension on 21st dec 2012 and started affiliating himself with Ben Fulford and saying similar things as Fulford like saying there is a good group that will imminently remove the evil group running the planet, then that turned me away from anything he said.

Jay, read the full story mate.

I wasn't happy at first either but after reading the full story I understand why.

The areas they're going to stop selling it are highly populated with Muslims, and they (subway) aren't making any money from the Ham/ pork or Bacon that they're selling.
Halal meat is highly requested in those areas so it seems logical business wise to sell that.

JK92
{Ed007's Note - I don't know much about all this but does Halal mean only Muslims can handle the meat and prepare the food? I've tried to have a quick look but it's a lot to take in if you look at Halal in it's entirety. It takes me all my time to remember to eat fish on a Friday!}

Do any of the eds or people on here believe the government and certain private companies are trying to intentionally stir up trouble between religions and none religious people?

{Ed033's Note - Yes, it's called 'divide and conquer' and has been used for a long time now.

Not so sure mate, I think it's more to do with more and more people recognising that all holy books take their tales from different/older holy books. Also, that belief in a god is a faith based belief, rather than a reasonable or logic based belief.

It's not really a fair argument though with religion. They have zero evidence of any god, of which there have been more than 3000 worshipped.
Everything a religious person believes is based on faith. Faith meaning that you'll believe something without any evidence whatsoever. So how can you have an open and fair debate with someone, who refuses to recognise that their religion, no matter which it is, has been "borrowed" from an older civilisation? The reality of that really gets to people of a religious persuasion. Also, if you read any of the holy books, you'll see just how horrible a being this god character seems to be.

Had more to say on the subject, but don't want to offend anyone.

Science, reason and logic will prevail, and we as a civilisation will be far better off!

By keeping an open mind and really delving into mathematical areas such as volume geometry, transcendental numbers and infinity-fractals, and physics areas such as swarzschield black holes, electron-photon dualities and plasma behavior, one can logically deduce that there is a creator.

As for the OPs original question, the priesthood was designed to prevent certain knowledge from reaching the masses. Unsurprisingly, it is still used to subjugate, divide and keep humanity ignorant.

I must admit I hadn't heard of him before today, although I have become more aware of maintaining good alkaline levels in your diet through people like Max Gerson and others. I will definitely look into Edgar Cayce's philosophy in more detail now thanks. {Ed033's Note - most people are deficient in iodine so as iodine is toxic, taking detoxified iodine is a way of supplementing.

It's recommended not to take detoxified iodine/Atomidine immediately before bed as it can raise your energy.

It can also if you're deficient in iodine, possibly help with clearer thinking.

Cayce believed that iodine was one of the main substances that the human body could manufacture a lot of other substances from.

The mixture of substances that make up glyco thymoline were probably channelled originally and is an alkaline cleansing solution. It's very good for eliminating a sore throat if gargled. http://glyco-thymoline.net/

I seen a headline to an article there as I walked past someone reading a paper. The article was about Snowden hiring a top lawyer to get him back to America safely. Now it got me thinking that, was the whole whistleblowing staged?
I mean it seems to me that since he's been in Russia was he planted there to falsely give the Russians false info to lure them out and start a war. Is he another Lee Harvey Oswald?
