Turritopsis nutricula is the Immortal Jellyfish. Has anyone else heard about the "immortal" jellyfish I found this very interesting......also I heard something about scientists trying to somehow get the jellyfish DNA into us to stop us ageing.....

I left the scientific name in, so people could easily find out the details anyway. It is very interesting, and it is also normal for scientists to look at a creature's DNA to try and find out why they have certain abilities, what causes them and then if they can be recreated in humans. Not sure it would be a good thing to give humankind immortality, the world is already overcrowded as it is!}

Not a conspiracy, but can anyone shed any light on why after 1 crash- (caused by debris on the runway I think,) was the concorde taken out of service?
This was one of man's greatest ever creation's and it just stopped. Not even an attempt to improve it.
Watched the documentary about the Air France crash, the Rio-Paris flight on C4, and now they are doing a documentary about a controlled plane crash.
Why all the sudden plane crash interest?
And, lastly, Looking at the advert for this controlled crash, looks like it does not really show a realistic crash situation as the landing gear is down and crashes in to the thick desert.

Watching Homeland on channel 4, there must be a world record for the most times the words "Muslim" and "terrorist" have been squeezed into a script of a popular American TV series. brainwashing.

Eds what are your thoughts on the Nazcar of South America? What were the reasons for the line they drew. They also changed the shape of their skulls. It looks quite similar to what you would imiagine a alien to look like {Ed001's Note - to me, I would have to say they expected someone to be able to look down on the pictures they drew, or else it would make no sense. But that doesn't necessarily mean aliens, after all christians look to the skies in search of heaven and their god, could the Nazca culture also have seen their god/s up above? As for the skull shape changing, that could just be fashion, like lip stretching, neck stretching, tattoos etc.}

Just seen an interesting picture from a johnny bravo episode (I know not the best source), which showed johnny and a friend talking with a window in the background, the window shows a picture of two towers on fire with a sign saying coming soon, the episode aired in April 2001

look I dont care if you believe me or not, I seen two white flashing lights over the south west scotland and northern ireland area, it happened on two seperate occasions within 2-3 mins of each other over a very clear sky, just thought I would let you know and if anyone else seen anything please post

Hi all, i find it funny how there is suddenly no more reported news or updates on the French Alps shootings, again another convenience that the press just are no longer covering. How something can be in the news for so long and the suddenly just no longer be reported is beyond believe.

Just thought i'd alert people to the fact that the world has a new super-hero (or deluded fruitloop) in the guise of 'RED-EYE', the Runcorn vigilante. I seen a couple of reports in the local paper and thought it was kids making things up, but apparently not , basically he goes around with a mask with red eyes that are lit up and beats-up troublesome scally-wags. He is now on youtube, it's unintentionally funny and also a bit sad as i suspect he is no youngster and could all end in tears, or worse...

i watch a lot of the reality programs like ice road truckers/coal/gold rush etc etc and the amount of times new federal laws coming in like health and safety/documents they need to do this and that is ridiculousness,they are getting fined left right and center ,telling a coal prospector who has been digging for gold for 70 years boy to man that he needs to do this and that is a scandal,what made me laugh you get some government feller who is about 30 telling a expert about what he cant do and what he can do and billing him for the pleasure of the so called advice and some paperwork he now needs is a joke,they are squeezing the life out of hard working men who do put there lives on the line to make a few bob.
frankyscouse {Ed001's Note - I wouldn't take it that any of these 'reality' TV shows have any real basis in reality mate. The programme maker will want to show the subject of the show in a certain light, in the ones you are talking about, it is a case of showing them to be striving against legislation etc. The problem is that without the health and safety legislation, big businesses would just have continued to put their workers into danger with no cares about their welfare. Yes, there are times it goes too far, but don't believe the nonsense in the shows, it is just to get you to identify with the characters in them.}
