MIKEY
Cheers for the heads up on Progeria, I am reading it now.
It is interesting but I have loads to read yet. First thing I have noticed is that it talks of nucleotide mutation, but Star Child nucleotides are different in location and do not register as human at all. So I want to find out more about this.
Secondly, Progeria is categorically associated with fragile bones. Again I am yet to read a detailed bone comparison to that of Progeria sufferers and a normal person. However, the Star Child skull in thinner yet several times DENSER than human bone. I would be interested to hear bout the presence of fibres to, in Progeria sufferers - I will not be surprised if they have never been found.
At this stage my finalpoint would be, after looking at Progeria images, that the facial structure of a Pregeria sufferer is different to the Star Child. Not only do Progeria sufferers have a pear-shaped head, they do no have a flat-backed head like the Star Child. Also, the star-child's eye sockets are virtually beside the nasal cavity, and although not hugely different, the Progeria kids' eyes are still considerably higher/above the line of the nasal cavity compared with the Star Child.
This is all really interesting stuff. Gonna read more about the genetics. I want to find out mroe about the DNA changes in Progeria, but mroe to the point, other references to the DNA of the Star child - no amount of mutation will provide tests that show the father of a Progeria sufferer to be non-human...
