Of course gunner, like I said I'm 50/50 on the whole thing, but have experienced things but I just can't see how ghosts can exist in the way we know about them.

True but some of the stuff I've seen and found extremely interesting I can't help but think would have made national news not just local, its difficult to understand why it would be broadcast world wide but only regionally in the UK.
Obviously surprising the story doesn't cover it because its hardly a secret

Everyone asks that when I tell the story Dags :-)
Has to be something in it mate, its only when something actually happens to you personally that you really believe it I think.

Very interesting post and replies there.

I'm a firm believer that we are born a blank canvas and that every sight, sound , taste experience etc shapes us and that as life goes on each individual becomes as unique as their fingerprints also your opinions on this have come through whatever conditioning you have received and mine also if you like.

What we have to be very careful about is not think that we have ever risen above and become free thinkers because that doesn't exist no one is free!

How most killers, rapist and what we have been led to believe as bad people in our society become what they are for reasons you state above (not in all cases but the vast majority) and in your opinion the best way would be to stop these triggers or conditioning that causes them. Would that lead to a perfect world or one that is even more heavily controlled than the world we currently live in because in some ways you could be suggesting a systematic brainwashing of all to be the perfect human.

In a horrible way the mix of society now is more natural and even if we all lived in the wild we would still have to defend ourselves against beasts or people that want to steal your slice.

Or maybe that's what I believe because I watched Appleseed 😃

Good posts

G62,

You sure your mate didn't climb into bed with you?

I'm kidding of course.

Very spooky and well narrated.

Goes to show, they do live among us.

Do you think someone is born a mugger or rapist, Kim? Do you look at a newborn child and see evil and hatred, or innocence and love?

An extremely narrow minded and not thought out response mate.

Ofcourse everyone has to take responsibility for their own actions, which we as a society dictate they will, through the use of the 'justice' system and jail. Yet there is no doubt that people that grow up and are exposed to violent or criminal upbringings are far more likely to live those same lives, with the same violent tendencies.

So do we take the narrow minded short sighted approach and punish people in retrospect, forever maintaining the cycle, or, do we look at what is showing itself to be the root cause of the problems, and offer up solutions which may impact outcomes.

Society is geared towards judgement and subjectiveness. Its all want, want, want and now, now, now. If people weren't made to feel less then because they didn't have something someone else did, or because we are told money equates to success, people wouldn't be willing to do violent or criminal things in order to obtain it, when their environment gives them little hope of being able to do so through productive and legal avenues.

You can continue to live life pointing the finger at people saying they are bad because they do x,y or z, lock them in a box to think about what they did, or you can ask yourself why are they acting that way and try and work out what would eleviate the obvious stress factors that cause a once innocent and loving baby to become so disconnected.

Regional presenters? If you lived in the east midland region you wouldn't be familiar with Scottish newsreaders.

Ok Dags if your in I'm in :-) this also is a 100% true story.
In 2001 I was going through a divorce and living in a bedsit which had 3 rooms on the second and third floor of an old Victorian house, the room opposite mine was not used but retained by the landladies brother who kept it as a bolt hole in case him and his girlfriend didn't work out and the room above mine at the top of the house was occupied by my mate who a few months after me splitting up with my ex wife found himself in the same situation.

I'd been living there about 7 months and my mate about 4 months, we were both waiting for solicitors to do their thing before being able to get on with our lives.

One night during the working week I woke up around 4am startled because I could feel someone laying next to me in the bed I hadn't been out the night before so I knew I hadn't pulled a girl and forgotten or anything, I put the light on in the room which apart from me obviously there was no one there, I just assumed I'd had a flash back or something to being married which I thought was strange after so many months apart, I also remembered the pipework being very loud that night something I'd never noticed before, fully awake I could hear my mate in the room above me moving around and thought because it was so early in the morning he must have had an early start at work that day so went back to sleep as soon as I could before my alarm went off.

The next evening when I got back to the bed sit after work I walked into the kitchen and my mate was sitting there I said hi how you doing etc as you do and straight away he said he was moving that night because he was too frightened to stay in the house that night, I asked him why and he said he was woken up at around 4am the night before by feeling someone laying next to him in the bed.

My jaw dropped as he explained what happened obviously because it was exactly the same as had happened to me and if I'd have told him what happened to me first I don't think I would have believed him 100% to this day but the fact I hadn't told a single person about what had happened to me that day the only way he could have known was if he was telling the truth.

Anyway I was pretty nervous that night I that big old house on my own but absolutely nothing happened that night or any of the others over the remaining time I lived there.

Its because our governments never gets questioned by the people, we are told what to think, drink, eat, say etc.

Cool story mate.

When I lived in Germany we had strange things happen like the kettle boiling on its own, even after replacing it because we thought it was faulty.

Keys would go missing and end up in strange places.

My bros toys would move here and there, my mum got in someone and they said there was a little German boy in the flat that had fallen to his death.

One day I swear I saw what looked liked a child on the balcony.

I'm still 50/50 on the subject though I'll admit.

No worries. Counter espionage people are hard core. They'd have grilled him for hours. Went through it myself once. After finally got out I cried for about 2 hours.

Bond is entertaining but not too realistic.
