My housemate is a big David Icke buff, he's got most of his docs etc and as I do have an interest in conspiracies, I've watched a few of them.

The thing is, I don't believe the majority of Icke's ideas and my housemate's response is pretty much this: He says that coz the ideas are far-fetched, by everyday standards, people are afraid to speak out about them fof fear of being branded a 'lunatic' or similar. His feeling being that 99% of the population are sheep who are scared to be seen as anything other than 'normal'.

However, my counter-argument is always this: Conspiracy theorists, or at least Icke worshippers, adopt the exact same tactic to get their own point across.

"If you don't believe, you're simply a sheep and too close-minded to 'get it'"

Which, to me, is no different than the government calling all believers lunatics.

A generic, aimless person or 'sheep' would be scared into disbelieving these ideas by the fear of being labelled a 'lunatic'.

An open-minded person with an interest in conspiracy theories is scared into accepting them as truth by the fear of being labelled 'close-minded' or a sheep.

Same tactic, different camps.

Everyone should read Darwin and stop simplyfing evolution. They think one day a fish was in the sea the next it sprouted legs. Evolution is a slow process full of dead ends. The early life forms were the first eyes appeared had rapid life spans meaning multiple generations in a minute and this was the engine of rapid change.

Christianity is a relatively modern religion, christians should study the historical facts of how their religion spread and maybe then they would regect it.

So to find the whole truth and nothing but the truth, according to you. We should avoid the official site and any other site that proves the starchild has different origins than us? Why? Because you can't accept something so strange and mysterious?
Science has proved this thing is of different make-up than any other human. All the evidence PROVES this mate, so why you hating on the concept so much?

Also, as RAZ kindly asked. Can you please provide a link to show this evidence, with pics and scientific study to show that this deformity is the EXACT same as the starchild skull? Eg. Difference in thickness and durability, and the unexplained red stuff as well?

If you can, i'd be more than happy to accept the idea that maybe the whole starchild thing isn't a mystery. But until I see compelling evidence to prove otherwise, then I'll still think there's every chance this thing is special. Thing is, so will you my friend!

The plane they say hit the Pentagon ( 737 ) can't remember the exact type of plane, stands 45ft tall. Let's for the sake of argument say a few was taken from the plane before it hit, the hole it would leave would still be larger than 15ft!

Also, it's insensitive NOT to raise these these questions. Also, where did the supposedly indestructible engines go?

Which airline do you work for? You chat to pilots regularly then?

This is the best post I have read on here. And sums exactly how I feel. Conspiracy theories are born out of peoples genuine concerns and they are right that the few control the many that governments lie etc The theorists say they are open minded but once a juicy theory arrives they become gulable and close minded. The poster is 100% correct the publishers of these theories profit from their lies. Governments around the world do terrible things to their own and other people but I doubt the reason is ALIEN MIND CONTROL OR OWL WORSHIP!

Read Darwin! it is about adapting, if there is less threat in the water an animal will swim, rather than walk, if they spend more time swimming the will adapt.

What starts as a deformity may work well for a creature (fingers fusing for example) this makes this one creature more succesful than it's brothers, this makes it's chances of mating increase and the deformaities spread to the next generation.

It is a very simple concept once you get your head around it, there is no goal or pinacle to reach it is an ever changing world where those that adapt become more likely to continue the species and thus their genetic make up will go on.

I think that if we do find life out in he universe, it will be non-intelligent. We are unlikely to find any life that will have advanced technology and if they do exist then they'd find us instead

Each tower was actually built to to take the impact of 2 jumbo jets and still stay standing do the research if you don't beleive me! And both towers came down at freefall speed as if there was no resistance underneath them at all, jst like a demolition

And to add to that, aircraft fuel can only burn at 1,700 degrees max and steel starts to weaken at 2,500 degrees! To cut steel you need to use an oxy-setaline burner which melts steel at 4,500 degrees

Well if thats the case, where is the proof of a plane hitting the pentagon? What happened to the debris a plane leaves when it crashes? ie: seats, wheels, indestructable engines, the black box etc, etc, etc. Pilots with over 40 years of experience have come out and said that if they tried 100 times they would not be able to fly the path that a so called terrorist flew, the so called terrorist who was unable to fly a cesna properly.

It was a terrorist attack. they claimed responsibility. you would really have to belive in a cause stronger than new world order or some s**te to kill yourself in such a fashion. giving your life so somebody can control the banks or government is just never going to happen.

I actually think its suicide but i think our government drove him to it.
i think he was threatened with losing his job, or worse, unless he backed the war. i think he must of thought suicide was the only way to get out of the hell he was in.
such a shame.
i am guessing we will never know, but there is a case for murder.
im 60% suicide 40% murder on this one.

I just googled it after reading it on here last night. if you avoid the official website and the lies on it you will find a few indipendant sites that say the truth. i will try find it now and post it.
also i do agree you should change ur sign off as well.
it should be dont buy the sun or daily mail.
kelvin mckenzie who was responsible for that headline now edits the daily mail. so us reds should boycott both.

The fires became so hot and out of control the steel started to buckle and bend. the steel was designed to cope with a lot of stress from the buildings but not that much. once the steel failed the buildings collapsed.
it was explained at the time. shortly afterwards, and since then.
buildings are just not made to withstand planes crashing into them.
